Which way to proceed

About a month ago I started saying hi, and soon thereafter, chatting up a woman who lives in an apartment complex I'm currenly working at. I think it's been about 5 or 6 short conversations we had so far. From my limited experience I'd guess she's interested, I haven't really given her any solid proof that I'm interested in her. She may know as women are good at picking up things like that, but I'd bet she isn't sure...I should have invited her out/ gotten her number the last time I saw her. Too much time building rapport/comfort maybe, anyhow I figured I'd see her again soon enough, but I haven't run into her in about a week and a half. It was common to run into eachother when it was nice out, now it's been really cold and raining recently. My question, rather than wait for a chance encounter, which option would be less intrusive..
A) Knock on her door and proceed and from there? or B) get her number from a neighbor of her's that I know pretty well. I'm not sure if I've read her interest level right, but there's only one way to find out for sure. Just looking for some other opinions.

Don't succumb to creepiness. Let yourself bump into her again, don't get frustrated or anxious.

I don't think there is anything wrong with knocking on her door for an instadate.

Lol wel knocking on her door might not be the smoothest of ways to get the job done, but yea I'd try it and see what happens. If you were for sure in, then you'll still be in. Im sure she will call up her friends and say "Guess what this guy came to my door and asked me out...." and her friends will probably be pissed no one does that for them. heh. even if she shoots you down I think it will be an ego boost for her, admitted or not.

I think calling would be kida creepy. I've knocked on her door a few weeks back, she had been looking for a lady that works in the office. I happen to see the person she was looking for a little later, so I went over, rang her bell:crackup: and let her know. The last time I saw her, her neighbor and I were talking and I could tell she's a little more introverted than when we are talking one on one. Timing wasn't right. I figure there won't be any perfect moments headed my way any time soon. Yeah I figure if nothing else it'll be a ego boost, but I'll never know if I don't try.
