which type of barbells have accurate weight? The fix steel rounded dumbells 10lbs, for example, compared to sand filled plastic encased version. Do steel round plates have accurate weight compare to round dumbells?

I am buying the barbells next week. I am confused of all different barbells.

Barbells are different than dumbbells.

10 pounds is going to weigh the same regardless of what the weight comes from. If you're asking which people prefer, I'd stick with either the solid metal ones or if you're planning on changing weight a lot, a pair that have removable weights.

By the way, what exercises will you be doing with 10 lb dumbbells? Kegel exercises? :p

Which is heavier? A ton of bricks or a ton of feathers?

A TON OF GOD DAMN BRICKS.

Do NOT use plastic! They will break and you will waste your hard earned cash.

An exercise you can't do with dumbbells and which (in men at least) there isn't any effective way of adding resistance.

Kegel exercises are endurance exercises, and all the stupid **** patterns we come up with won't change the fact that we have no clue how to really improve on them.

Ummm, 6 or 8 beers.
