I've lifted on and off for years now. I'm a hardgainer. Always wanting to gain weight, muscle not fat, up to 205 like Pook in his post addressing being skinny. Only now am I really willing to put the effort and time in. I know. Should have wised up before this, but as they say. Better late, then never. The diet is settled and all good. The only problem I have facing me now is what workout to follow.
Should I follow the one from SkinnyGuy.net as Pook did. Or should I follow a more traditional workout of multiple sets of heavy weight (reps between 6-8) using compound exercises??????
I'm asking anyone who has had experience with this program to please add in. I'm seriously debating the two because I don't want to feel later that my time was wasted and I should have gone with the other one.
Thanks.
P.S.-More traditional workout looks like this:
Monday - Back
Tuesday - Chest
Thursday - Legs
Friday - Shoulders, Triceps, Biceps
