Hi.

Im thinking about taking a girl to a movie.
Theres this new shopping mall thats opening this week so its kinda cool.

What movie should I see with her?
Lots of ppl say slumdog millionaire is a good movie but is it a good date movie?

IF u go see a movie with a girl does it doesnt have to be a chick flick, right?

Thank you~

If this is a first date, go somewhere else. Why? Because you can't really have a conversation with her and build more comfort with each other.

If you guys have gone out before, this is a different situation.

She won't care. Just the fact that she's going out with you again proves that she likes you, so f*cking kiss her at some point.

As for the movie, anything works. I would personally go to something that I would enjoy.

Don't over analyze. It's just a movie. Look 'em up on IMDB and go to the one that seems the most interesting.

Scary movies are pretty good date movies because if they get scared they want to get closer to you or grab onto you.

Very true, but if you're anything like me, you'll be laughing at how badly done most horror movies are done these days lol, with their horrible plots and predictable shock points. Silence of The Lambs FTW

I speak from my own experience and this includes crash and burns.

Show her a movie that is light and funny. A chick flick, romantic comedy, basically the type of movies that you hate viewing. Trust me.

I've had my first french kiss with a girl after seeing a chick flick. Anything that builds a romantic mood is a good thing.

I've been virtually dumped, or have experienced nasty crash and burns after seeing action movies with a girl. While this may not be the case with every girl -- I'd put a 75% probability that you'll fare well if you follow this direction. These movies usually put in a wrong frame for romance.

It's better to watch a movie she likes, or will set the proper mental frame, than watch a movie you want. Save the movie you want to watch for your guy friends, or watch it solo. If you really don't like chick flicks or light and funny movies -- then stay the heck away from the movie theatre unless it's just friendship or you are just going to see her that one time and don't care if you don't see her again.

the man is right! You said 'a girl', so it doesnt sound like you dated her before, in which case, DONT see a movie! BAD BAD IDEA. You need to build some sort of interest level as well as comfort before you go see a movie, because otherwise you'll probs spend most of the time during the movie looking for a chance to pull a move, which makes for an awkward atmosphere.

Go for a coffee or something. Just make it short, like an hour or 2, that way you should have plenty to talk about and you can make yourself look busy and therefore in demand, also showing your life doesnt revolve around women.
