I'm using Nitrotech protein supplement which costs me $35. But I noticed at Wal Mart they have Six Star whey protein which costs $15. Is there any reason from now on to spend upwards of $30 when I can pay half that. As long as I'm getting those 20 g of protein it shouldn't matter too much right?

What's the difference between the two?

$15 for how much?

Have you considered buying in bulk online?

Anything made by muscletech is overpriced and overrated. While it may be a tad better, it's not anywhere worth the extra $$. Just like you can buy cheap creatine as opposed to celltech, you can buy cheaper protein as opposed to Nitrotech.

For the most part, whey is whey. I personally prefer Optimum Nutrition Whey (As do many others). You can pickup a 2lb tub for around $13 online.

So is whey the best way to get protien? there's other protien suppliments made from soys and stuff that are lot cheaper. Also what site or shop would you recommend which sells these products for cheap like bodybuilding.com?

Whey is quickly absorbed, which means it is optimal to use after a workout. But there's no reason not to use it anytime...a whey shake is a quick way to get some protein in. Casein protein (found in dairy products) is good before bed....it's supposedly slowly absorbed so you'll be getting it gradually while you sleep.

I buy Optimum Nutrition whey protein off of eBay for $33.....for 5 lb.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

i use this one....

http://www.heroesmuscle.co.uk/item7.htm

taking it first thing in morning, after workout and last thing in night, it contains both whey and casein protein so has it's desired effect in the morning and night and contains a massive 45g of protein a scoop which isn't bad,

highly recommended!!
