I always wanted to visit Texas, but what is the best place to go if you are on limited time (3 full days)?

I have heard plenty of people say Austin. The weekend I am available the Longhorns also have a home game, but it's against UTSA.

What about Dallas, Fort Worth and San Antonio?

I can only choose one.

I'd pick San Antonio. The area is pretty.

I've been to Dallas and Ft Worth and there isn't anything interesting there other than maybe partying.

I haven't been to Austin so I can't comment

Both Austin and San Antonio (87 mi.) can be done in three days once transportation is arranged. When you decide on the city, let us know…

I think I'll do San Antonio since they have the Spanish Missions.

Other than the historic sites, the two must see areas downtown that come with restaurant/bar atmospheres are the Riverwalk and the Market Square/Mercado areas. Both filled with local and tourist women at busy times.

Yep, the revitalized uptown area is hot. Greenville Ave. is still decent but older with a local crowd.

Uptown Dallas has been in decline since the mid-2010s. Greenville Avenue has been constant in the last 10-15 years. Never the best scene, but can be a reliable good time.

I like that choice. San Antonio has the Spanish Missions, The Alamo, The Riverwalk, and Hill County is nearby.
