Where to meet women besides sarging?

Guys I know that cold approaches teach the idea that pickup is possible anywhere with anyone. But pickups aside, if you dont have access to hot girls what is a guy supposed to do if he doesnt want to meet them through cold approaches.

So far all I can think of are

1) Friends that you already know
2) Meetup groups
3) Clubs and Activities or Sports that you enjoy

But aside from that where else is a good place for you to meet people without opening them coldly.

Wherever you are comfortable.

-If you spend more time going out to places you will become more comfortable going out in different areas. The idea is not to limit yourself and see 'places' to talk to women, but to see 'opportunities' to talk to women. Believe it or not, but they are everywhere.
