It's been about a month since I've started at the gym with a personal trainer and nutritionist and all that. This is the first consistant work out program I've ever done, I'm keeping it up for five days each week and about a hour and a half each day.

I have noticed two things so far:

1.) My energy level has gone up; by that I don't mean I have more energy at the end of the day but I'm just more vibrant than I normally would be

and...

2.) My sex drive has gone up; much like my energy level it's not like I have more frequent sexual feelings, instead I have
stronger
sexual feelings when I do have them.

Actually that pretty much goes for all my "arousal" emotions; anger, excitment, etc. are all more intence when I experience them.

Is this normal, or am I finally coming unhinged? Has anyone else had this experience and how did it go for them?

If my sex drive keeps going the way it's going and getting stronger and stronger I'm gonna wind up raping someone.  j/k But I can see it getting rather out of hand.

Welcome to the world of being a man.

Hope you enjoy it :)

The same happened to me. Now I've not been working out in the last week and a half-ish it's coming back down... I miss the heightened awareness :(

Your testosterone might be increasing as a result of working out.

I've started working out on a serious level lately and have noticed the same thing happening. For me, however, this is not a bad thing since it might help me shake my nice guy image and help me convey more sex appeal.

watch what happens if you try to cut up... your sex drive will fall tremendously.

I was worried about week 6 or so till my calories came back up after week 10... then it all went awesome again ;)

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Yeppers, its all characteristics of Testosterone. Congrats, you must be hitting it pretty hard in the gym and doing the right things. Squats are probably the best for the sex drive; your glutes and legs have the biggest muscles of your body, and big muscles means big releases of all kinds of good chemicals.

Screw Viagra, save some money and hit a gym.
