isnt that the whole dam point to get to know them?

i don't usually look through myspace but one caught my eye. a very sweet girl by the looks. very into family, christian, sorta stuff. i decided to message her ... what the hell. told her i found her profile interesting and i would like to chat to her more.

so she replies the next day, included with a load of sh!t about god... kinda funny ,here have a read.

OMG I hate that religious preaching bullsh!t... nobody fvcking knows what God really is/who Jesus really was, they just elaborate on what they "learn" in church.

hmmm whats my opinion. I have a rebecca too and she is the EXACT same and highly christian. I keep it brief and friendly. shes just not dating material to me. i grew up a strong believer but there is no reason to do nothing with your life because you're christian. god didnt say thou shalt not have friends, love, good job, pretty yard, and for the holiness he never said you couldn't do anything not to look good. there is a good thick stratchy line between getting tatoos blah blah blah and simply taking CARE OF YOURSELF by cutting your hair, grooming it which includes use of hair gel. and all these women let their legs and arms get hairy that just means they dont take care of themselves. god forbid the horrible smells in the air on the day such a prude gets wet and ready to reproduce. might I ask for little so much as a small amen?

Jesus was a true leader, and he doesn't love you because you pray, but he'd respect you for what you do with your life and how you stand up for what you believe in and contribute to people just like he did.

Love and religion are completely unrelated, they just go together because the spirit desires an emotion that strong.

Don't be a slave to God like they're trying to teach you to be, look at yourself, and rethink everything.
Maybe try praying FOR God for a change.

Also just because you can't see something doesn't mean it isn't there... like how do you visually see what's in a person's mind? You can't.

everyday when i get up i get a new reply from this girl. she obviously wakes up early and goes out to work, whatever. i get up late so when i'm up she's gone. when she's up i'm asleep or something. however, the more replies i get from her the more interested i am. she's a very smart girl by the looks and i share the same thoughts apart from the god, jesus thing. i didn't want to post this, because it seemed a bit private and i'm sure she wouldn't approve of me doing this but hey, i don't know her yet and she won't see this

My advise on the religious ones and their rants; Just ignore it as useless information and remember the stuff that matters. Remember, they're flesh and blood just like all of us. They have exactly the same desires as all of us. So the only real question is, do they repress these desires or not. Use their humanity against them and quite often, you can have your way anyway.

I personally don't mind the religion. Anything that will assist in keeping them faithful (if they become a LTR) is a good thing; including the belief in artifical gods. Also, you will typically have a power advantage since many of these types are often drawn to God because they inherently need some sort of crutch and can't "make it on their own". A big sale pitch of many churches today is pointing out how tough life is and how you can "do all things through christ who gives you strength". They prey on the weak, in other words, and get many of those types.

If you can't stand the preaching, then don't date her, even if she's hot.

There's a line from the bible about being "equally yoked" which makes a lot of sense, even for all you athiiests out there. If you don't like the "preachy freaks" then don't date them.

Personally, the volunteer witnessing and preaching isn't my style. If you want to talk about god, I'm here, and I'll defend my strong beliefs. But I'm not going to force my religion on you. I feel bad for those who are hardcore witnessed to when they don't want it and can't get out of the situaton. I will try to save friends from those people. I don't mind these guys usually, but I understand certain friends are uncomfortable about it.

I personally don't agree with "overpreaching" to new christians or people trying to figure out more about the whole god issue. Big turn off.

I don't force myself on people when I entertain, and I don't want entertainers doing the same to me. I don't want a hard sell.

By the way, don't assume that all Christian women are really sluts in disguise. Sometimes it's true, sometime it isn't.

On a different subject, one of the issues with myspace is that until you get to know someone better, it can be a lot harder to tell what they're really like. In real life, it can be easier in a lot of ways.

I think this amounts to the same thing as "I have a boyfriend" excuse. Dude, she's saying she's not interested, except in the possibility of converting you. If you keep hitting on her, you're ignoring some signs that you're not that compatable.

You're trying to hit on someone who's not "equally yolked" to you. There's got to be more women out there who are a bit more your style than a witnessing myspace chick. Let her go with the witnessing dudes.
