Most of my cds are mixes by various artists. If I had to pick a favorite album though, I'm gonna either go with King by T.I., or Get Rich or Die Tryin' by 50 Cent (I'm just going to go ahead and say fuk you in advance, its the highest selling rap cd of all time for a reason).

There's very little hiphop I can tolerate anymore. And this is coming from someone who was a bigtime hiphop head back in high school in the early 90s. I was lucky enough to see Tribe Called Quest on tour last year and that was one of the highlights of '06 for me.

WTF?! Well I kept searching and I'm getting conflicting information. Whatevs, its still a bomb ass album, I don't care what anyone says. Generally though, I don't buy or even illegally download entire cds. Basically, whats the point of spending all that money, or using up your ipod space downloading 20 songs, when you really only like 5 or 6 of them?

I really can't stand the old school hip hop. I've got probably about 500 hip hop songs in my itunes, and only maybe 50 of them are from before say...2003.

as far as rap cd's go however... I'm a little older than you are. Get rich or die trying is a GREAT CD.. again I'm not into rap anymore but when I was I had this CD and bumped it... Jay Z is really the only thing i listen to know that's close to rap.

The best Rap CD i personally ever heard.. just classic rap cd's.. is Bone's EST 1999.. if you haven't heard it.. it was GRODT before GRODT.. EVERYONE had that CD. EVERYONE. it was so popular they released it TWICE and both were best sellers. Every damn song execpt like 3 had music videos.. Crossroads ahd 2 videos!!! mind you.. you can't understand 1 word that they are saying though the entire cd.. but that doesn't stop it from being a classic.. and you knew all the "mumbles".. beacuse they weren't words such as:

"getame on the run withame shotgun (slang tada bagbag tang)"

and who can't forget the classics like

with songs like EST 1999, Mr. Ouija, Crossroads (both of them), First of the month, the Weed Song, the song above I don'tk now the title to, Me Killa.. the last song of the CD.. I forgot the name of it but it was so popular you hear every band playing it at every Jr High and High School game you went to..
"bone, me smokeame hydro (bone) won't letame high go" (there hasn't been a better song ever made to get high to.. not that I would know)

the new school has turned me away. that and just maturing with age. I have heard the "this is why I'm hot" song and I kinda dig the beat... but i have no idea who sings it...

again if it's not Jay Z.. i'm out. and I'm not even that big on Jay Z's new album.. wh en I heard that single I checked best buy every tuesdaqy... when I got the CD I was pretty disopointed to be honest

My top cd of all time is probably Dream Theater's Scenes From A Memory. That album turned every part of my life upside down! :box:

A close second is Dimmu Borgir's Enthrone Darkness Triumphant...sometimes the two alternate as my favorite.

Tool - Lateralus is the greatest cd ever. It's the one I go back to time and time again when I need a boost or refocus my energy.

10000 Days being a very close second.

Okay, maybe I can pick one that REALLY stands out... Cinderella's "Still Climbing" album. Complete Don Juan album from front to back. Well, maybe except for the last track, but it's better than anything else I have when it comes to being inspirational for the DJ way of life.

And speaking of Dream Theater, James LaBrie has a kick-ass voice.

Problem with Dream Theater is they're too technical and not catchy at all. Dream Theater would increase its fan base immensely if they incorporated catchy riffs.

As a Black Metal enthusiast I'll go with Emperor's "Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk". \m/ Other favorite albums are from Gorgoroth, Dark Funeral, Carpathian Forest, Darkthrone, Burzum, Satirycon, Immortal, Bathory, etc.

Hah, good to see some other metal lovers here. I'd give Nightside Eclipse a slight edge over Anthems, but it's close. "Inno A Satana" is one of the best black metal songs of all time. Immortal's thrashy (At the Heart of Winter and later) stuff is great, too.

As far as my favorite album:

Crowned in Terror by The Crown.

Straight up death-thrash with just the right amount of leads to keep it intresting without getting masturbatory. Really interesting drum work, if you listen for it. They're kind of a death metal version of Slayer. The lyrical content relates exclusively to satan, death, drugs, satan, death, hell, death, satan, destruction, anger, and power. :D What else could you want from a metal band?

I'll say Scott4 by Scott Walker or the Nancy Sinatra & Lee Hazlewood (RIP) one with the orange cover.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
