What's the proper dress for gentleman in his 30s to impress the ladies? Should he dress in preppy, golf clothing, banker suit, or calvin klein casual?

Where whatever the hell you want and if some b#tch doesn't like it, she can go to hell.

This forum is becoming as pointless as the main board.

Golf is probably out, but you are asking for fashion advice from straight men, which is a bad idea. Find some women and gay dudes. They have the fashion sense.

I tend to dress for myself rather than impressing somebody.

I just tend to dress for the weather, I guess. Put a clean shirt on. If it's dinner I'll put on a nice shirt and slacks depending on the place. If it's Joe's crab shack...casual gear. You know, Cargo pants with a nice short sleeved button up.

Anything that makes you feel comfortable. I like to think my style is versatile. Lol.

Just dress for comfort and the occasion. With that in mind you won't go wrong.

Zaius is right but atleast show you put effort into it. Make her think that even if it isn't a major concern. So in other words press your shirt. If it has last Monday's spaghetti dinner stain, get another clean shirt.

Dress in whatever you feel like but realize the following:

If you dress better, it's likely that you will get better results.

One caveat might be the that you should dress to fit in but dress a notch better.

For instance wearing a tux to a frat party is a bit overdone, kind of like alot of those guys who wear suits to a bar.

on the flip side, if you are just gettig off work and are in a suit, why not go to the bar. You don't need to change into shorts to look like every other slob there.
