What's a slick way to respond to this?

I am making out with this one chick and I'm trying to escalate in a certain way. (taking clothes off, different position, etc.) Then she backs off then starts asking "Why?" to EVERYTHING. It actually got kind of annoying, I just wanted to be like "'CAUSE THAT'S WHAT MEN AND WOMEN DO WHEN THEY LIKE EACH OTHER!!" but that would be bad.

How do you respond to this? I'm just trying to escalate then she starts trying to switch the physical action to verbal.
