Do you regret anything from your twenties? Do you regret that you didn't do this and that? What would you change if you got to be 20 again? I'm just curious :) I wanna know how the more mature people reflect on this..

Nothing.

Regret the things you've done - nopt the things you didn't.

Don't post crap like this, and don't live in the past ... EVERYONE ON THE PLANET WISHES THEY COULD GO BACK IN TIME WITH THE KNOWLEDGE THEY HAVE NOW.

No one has ever accomplished this though, so why bother thinking about it.

He is 20 and wants to try to take advantage of perspective. You know that crap that women have written all over their houses about "dance like no one is watching, **** like you were attracted to the person you are ****ing" I don't remember it exactly. But do that.

People will tell children they can be anything they want to be. That's a lie. However, failure is a learning experience. Pick a few things you want to try and try them. Even if they seem kind of stupid. For a while I was an awful actor. I really sucked. When I see some of the things I did i cringe,

but,

I made so many connections and friends and learned things I apply to so many aspects of my life now I cannot regret it.

I just wish they would stop playing some of them.:D

Ooh, my bad, I didn't notice that you were 20!

I don't think anyone here can answer that for you, since what is important to everyone is different.

There's a thread in the DJ Bible about a mental excercise where you imagine yourself being very old, near death. Then imagine, now that you're very old, you look back on your life and think of all the things you wish you could have done. That way, you'll realize what's important to you. Try doing that mental excercise. Good luck

Amen brother.

The funny thing about regret is, it's better to regret something you have done than to regret something you haven't done.

I wouldn't change a thing I did because all of it, good and bad, amounted to who I am today and I like who I am now better than who I was in my 20's. However, if you're looking for advice from your seniors - and I commend you for doing so, not many do these days - I'd tell you to always put yourself first. I like the term 'Enlightened Self-Interest', help yourself in order to best help others. Get in touch with your inner A-Hole, being an enlightened assshole will get you out of trouble far more times than it will get you into trouble. Focus on your own success and ambition rather than others. That may sound selfish and narcissistic, but only from a certain point of veiw.

The only thing I regret was not making more of an effort to get good with women but then again, if I had, then maybe I would have ended up in a bad relationship or something and maybe I wouldn't have found the valuable online resources in this area. I guess I just came full circle with this paragraph.

I guess when it comes down to it, I don't regret a damn thing. I'm happy and I feel good about my life right now.

GOt married too early and to the wrong person.

Don't be in a rush to get married or get mature too fast. Enjoy your 20s and do NOT take on too much responsibility too early. Enjoy the freedom while you can!

Rollo is right, you have to put yourself first, otherwise it is easy to let others dictate your life or walk all over you. But that is what being a DJ is all about!

Become a DJ now.. if you spend your 20s as an AFC, nothing good will come of it.

Well I'm here to tell you there is such a magic wand. Something that will make you almost completely irresistible to any woman you "point it" at. Something guaranteed to fill your life with love, romance, and excitement.

I would probably do some things and not do some other stupid things but i'm sure everyone would do something different whether it be age 20 or 50 or whatever. The past is the past there's nothing you can do about so i'm not going to really think about it but i will think about the future.
