What would you change about SoSuave?

I'm finishing up development on a project I've been working on for the past year and a half, and seeing as how I like to keep myself busy with new programming projects, I'm considering making my next project a self-improvement website. This would be a bit like SoSuave, but the focus would be on self-improvement for males, instead of focusing on women. I feel that's one of SoSuave's biggest issues. It focuses too much on how to game women, instead of how to improve yourself.

The homepage would be akin to a blog, with articles and videos on everything related to self-improvement. There would of course be a forum, with the main difference being, there would only be one section dedicated to the discussion of game. This does not mean there would be one place for everything game. Just one main forum section, with a few subcategories for different things like field reports, tips, questions, etc.

So, with this said, what would you like to see on SoSuave 2.0 (obviously, not what I'm calling it)? What should remain the same? What would you change?

Sosuave is a vbulletin forum. Most web forums are. So when you see other similar web forums that are a little different, it's just their vbulletin settings. All of those changes should be easy to make.

The getting logged out thing is fairly new. After a few minutes of not clicking anything, like while writing a post, sosuave logs you out automatically. It's only been that way for a short time. I also get logged out automatically if I shut off my Internet connection. That is an even newer and more annoying feature Maybe it has to do with Google ads. Whatever I look at on Amazon will be my sosuave ads.

What's the best sosuave ad blocker for Firefox? I am trying to cut down on data usage, so I have an image blocking add-on. But I can still see it transferring the ad data back and forth; I'm not sure if it helps for data usage.

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

There should be an audio book for the DJ Bible so I can listen to it in the car and as I sleep at night.

That's a good idea. The DJ Bible (DJB) is too long to read. Audio files of someone reading the key DJB posts would be a great resource. Keep the written posts, but maybe have downloadable audio files.

Off topic, I noticed that my IM mailbox storage has grown from 75 to 100. Thank you to whoever did that. I keep useful IMs in storage almost like printing out key posts. More IM storage is always appreciated.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

I'd change the mods. They suck so bad :cuss:
^This. :D I've been on other forums and some of the mods are too over bearing, nit picking little things. I like how this forum seems loose and relaxed, kind of like how I like my women.....hardy har hah. For a while I thought it was starting to shift in the other direction.

Only Seymour, lol. This is a good idea though. It would obviously take some time, and couldn't use all of the posts, but it could be done. SS could bundle it up and sell it. If the price was reasonable, I'd buy it.

Regarding the vbulletin thing: I know. Certain changes would be easy to make using vbulletin, but I'm thinking if I do this, it will be all custom. That way, I can make it exactly as I want. As for the logging out issues, I've noticed them. I don't post enough for it to bother me, though, I'll make sure it isn't an issue.

interactive self improvement journal. pimp CB, where aspiring DJs talk live online with their fellow DJs
How exactly would a journal be interactive?
The CB (assuming you mean chatbox) is a good idea though.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.
