What was your worst rejection during your DJ training

Guys, i am in the process of re educating my ****ed up little mind to become a DJ, as you know the road is not easy, specially the first months when you put your self out there and start learning, i would love to hear your stories about the fumbles and stumbles you ran into when you started this process, this is just so us beginers can feel better at knowing that all aspiring DJ's will crash and burn as they learn the ropes, so tells us your story of one of your worst rejections or screwups.

Heres my first:

I aproached a super hot girl from my gym about a week ago, i told her i wanted to take her out for some ice cream or coffe, and she agreed, but she did tell me she was right in the middle of a divorce, so i let about a week pass, and today i bumped into her in the gym, i said hi to her and she said hi back, so i told her we needed to get togheter, offered her the choice betwen wednsday and thursday, to wich she replied she workouts both days, so i tell her what about sunday? and she tells me thats her only day to rest ( not good signs), so i proceed to ask her what kind of lawyer she is because she had told me she was a lawyer, and she tells me, and i explained to her i had some legal work i might need and she agress she will look at it, so i ask for the number and she gives it to me. I frankly don't care if i hook up with her or not, shes my test chick, but i would love some advice from fellow board members about how to handle this, i know shes showing little interest, but heck, this is a test, so i have nothing to lose.

Either she is really busy OR SHE IS NOT INTERESTED!

Since she is your test, when you see her at the gym, GO EXTREME ON THE KINO!!
She might open up to that.

I would probably do the opposite actually. If you see her before the 4 day period before the call, I would do a freeze out. Don't go up to her when you see her, make sure she comes up to you. Don't talk to long, and act like you are in a rush. Make her make the conversation keep afloat, and act like you have more important things to do. When a girl is not interested, you stop giving her attention. She'll be thinking, "Wtf just happened", and then she'll go and try and approach you to get you to reciprocate again.

Well, she did ask me wether i could meet her saturday, but i told her i was busy saturday, i am thinking i am going to call her in a few days, and set up a business--lunch, that way i can sit with her, kino her, and plain and simply see if theres anything to work there and if shes interesting enough for me.

I made a lot of embarrassing fumbles on the path to becoming a DJ. I freaked out a number of women with speed seduction, and caused them to avoid me. I offended lots of people and lost friends playing the jerk, and I used to do this weird thing where I'd use several strategies on the same woman and got told I was acting like a schitzo!

One of the worst I remember was losing a woman who was very close to me with some David DeAngelo advice.

We had arranged to meet up, but I got my dates confused and stood her up. After that she started ignoring my calls and text messages. However, instead of accepting she had a good reason to be annoyed at me I decided to "call her on her bullsh1t" (to quote DeAngelo) and "be a man". She wasn't answering her phone so I emailed her something to this effect:

I don't know what your problem is, but I don't appreciate being ignored like this. I don't deserve it and I won't put up with these games. If you want to speak, call me, otherwise let's just call it a day!

I got a reply from her the same evening telling me she was offended by me standing her up and not even apologising for it (real men never apologise according to the gurus I was following. ha!). More to the point she said that my email creeped her out and that she was not impressed that I could flip out so easily.

I really cared for this woman and she seemed very keen on me, but I blew it all with that one email - which wasn't even congruent with my personality! She spoke to me a few times after that and was civil, but she backed off and I never saw her in person again.

I did that too Jariel......It sucks cus you get sooooo caught up in that "I'm a prize" "Be a man" philosophy that it just takes over in ANY situation.

I was suppose to meet a girl for lunch in between classes and I showed up in the cafe and she wasn't there.......my defenses IMMEDIATLY went up even when I found out later she was eating outside instead of inside. Regardless I found that excuse enough to treat her slightly coldly in classes and we got to the point where we didn't even talk anymore (VERY Un-DJ) Those are ideas are well and good in the context David D'Angelo puts them in, but what he should have said was that you put her in her place when you've reached the point of saying, "I've done all I can do to build a bridge with this girl and that's a truth, I can do no more....."

More recently I've concluded that following my intuition from principles I knew to be true BEFORE I came here, aswell as adding motivational and behavior changing tools to my daily activities has made all the difference......

Mine was when I went to open a four-set at a club near here. I was with a wingwoman so opening the conversation was no problem at all... I sat down at their table (very drunk mind you) and started getting down to business. One of the girls bought a shot of goldschlager for everyone at the table... I shot it, then immediately regretted it. You know that point when you know you've had just a little too much too fast? That was me. I hiccupped, felt queasy, and before I knew it had thrown up onto the table - which of course bounced in every direction, managing to get on all four girls. Needless to say I didn't get any numbers...

The Worst One I've Had Was Also The Best

Last week, i'm stepping out of the bus to college and im passed by, the sexiest girl in the whole college by far (we're talking 9.5) and she does this,
"I know i'm so beautiful, and you'll never know me" kinda hair plump into a bus window, the bus, was full of people.
So she's thinking im a wuss, right.
I strole up to her and ask her name,

Her: "And why do you want my name?"
Me: "Well im not calling you sexy for the rest of the time we know each other"
Her: "Don't call me nothing then"

She walks off smiling, so do I. Nothing lost , and now, she might realise that i'm not a *****.

What you guys think?
