I had an orientation for the law school that I will be attending this fall. I met a cute girl and I introduced myself to her. We spoke for quite a bit maybe around 20 minutes after the orientation was over. However, when I asked her for her phone number, she said she didn't have one because she just moved in to town about a week ago. She offered me her e-mail address and I accepted it. Was this an AFC move on my part? I'm not to sure on what to write if I send her an e-mail. Should I just say hi remember me from the orientation or what? Please help out?

NEXT!

i was about to recommend you to say NEXT! until I read all of your email. in this particular situation, I am still a bit hesitant, but there is a positive: she's new to town, who better to show her around than you?

now seeing since she is in your class, you are going to bump into her again (planned or unplanned, be ready). i would wait til then and make chit-chat and get her number from there.

if and only if you are goin to email her, keep it like a phone call, short and funny. nothing pvssy like 'hi remember me from the orientation?' you gotta have the attitude that of course she remembers you, and take it from there. i would always wait a bit, at least a few days if not a week. i would wait until i bump into her in the next class and if you dont, then email.

other than this im not too sure. in the mean time, get your shyt together and go hunting for that elusive creature, the punani!

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
She can afford to go to law school, but she can't afford a cellphone?

Still...give her the benefit of an extreme doubt...try to get the number. Just don't waste a lot of energy on it...there are going to be plenty of attractive, career-minded women at law school busting their asses for that degree and looking for someone to chill and have fun with when they get a scrap of free time.

Guess who that is? :D

Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I'm going to take TTAGS advice by just waiting until I hopefully see her next week and just say what's up. I was also thinking about sending an e-mail but I really have nothing to say in that e-mail. Wouldn't it seem AFC if I said " Hey, there is this event going on at (place) and I was thinking maybe it might be a great place to go to this Saturday. and I was thinking that it would be a great place to go this weekend since we are new to this town " What should I say. I really don't want to ask her out immediately. I just wanted to talk to her over the phone for around 2 weeks and then get a date with her. I haven't even made a decision yet if I'm interested in her enough to take her out on a date or anything. So, what should I do.
