Serious question guys...

Yesturday (Friday) i woke up with a small pimple on my nose that wasnt too visible and thought nothing of it. Me and my friend went to the mall and i was very confident striked a good conversation with coupla girls and wanted to go clubbing.

After a while i went to the restroom and noticed that my pimple had grown and become even more red which in turn made it very noticable. It killed my confidence completely, needless to say i didnt even try to talk to any girls not even to girls that work in the mall. I didnt even bother going to the club.

My question is does this bother you??? i usually dont have too much acne but it seems like whenever i have important day or plan on going out to get some girls there is a fricking pimple on my face and that kills my confidence. Is there anything that can prevent this from happening??? is there anything that can heal a pimple in a day or something... now its weekend and i have a big pimple on my nose. I dont feel like going anywhere.

Budddy dont worry about it honestly.I still have noticable ones on my cheek but it doesnt matter one bit.I know it kills your confidence some what, but I look at the positives. If your in a dark room(which i love hides acne well) like a club girls cant notice it as well and it could become well hidden.

If you really wanna use a cover up which blends your skin awsomely(dont use alot tho) is get Aloe Propolis. It creates basically a layer which pretty awsomely blends your acne with the skin.Ive used a crap load of this stuff before when my face was FILLED with acne and managed a number close in daylight haha I never thought it would be possible

Acne always seems to pop up at the worst possible times, like first dates and job interviews. There are a lot of different causes for acne, the big ones include what you eat, how much you clean your hands/face. I've found that stress is a big one for me, too. Which is why it sucks for job interviews. I was also just told that if you go swimming in a pool and then go to a sauna afterwards, that can cause acne, due to the chemicals blocking pores and then sweating a lot. I was at a dermatologist awhile back and was reading some pamplet in the waiting room, it said the major causes for skin irritations include heat, cold, wind, and humidity. So basically to avoid it, stay inside with the lights off for the rest of your life.

From my experience the best way to treat it is just to was your face and hands a lot. You can get any regular acne control lotion at a store too.

Ya really can't let it bother you. Obviously if your face breaks out, you're doing something wrong, but 1 or 2 pimples here and there is nothing to worry about. There isn't a person in the world who would really think any differently of you because of it.

I'm a person who suffers from pimples, & I understand how they can make you feel like crap... But I thought I should point this out...

They didn't seem to mind...

Anywho... go to your doctor, & get some acne pills. They work wonders. Only problem is you have to get em every month or so. But what's your confidence worth to you ?

There is no quick fix. Absolutely nothing you can do once it's there, relax and let time fade it. Just eat healthy to prevent future pimples.

^^^ Actually popping them isn't a good idea. That actually pushes some the goop in the zit back under your skin.

And popping it will also cause scars.
Best thing to do is really ignore it, as hard as it may be.

That crap that Jessica Simpson is a spokesperson for, really works. My ex had that stuff and it would clear zits up like that.

Someone said that popping would cause scarring. I'm guessing it must depend on this size. I've been a zit popper all life and no scarring. One of my quick fixes is you squeeze it and then put a little toothpaste on it. This will dry up the oils inside to prevent it from reforming. Keep the toothpaste on it for 10 minutes or when the stinging stops, which ever is sooner.

Wow, I can't believe in this discussion. Are you really serious?

How can anyone think that a pimple will do so much effect... on the whole approach... it amazes me!!

SEE?!? It's all in your head!! They didn't care because you didn't care.

I get pimples ALL THE TIME!! Why? Testosterone! Testosterone causes me pimples. If a girl would tell me something wrong about my pimple, I'd take it as a joke. If they were really serious I'd laugh too! "I'm glad I aint perfect otherwise you girls would really overwhelm me!".

Pimples can pop up for many different reasons. Even if you're healthy, the most healthy person in the neighborhood, you can still have pimples. So what?

Wash your face 3 times a day with soap. Of all the things I have tried, this method is yet to bring me down.

And poping it up will cause it to stay for longer. Just let it be!

If you're nervous because of ONE PIMPLE, you still have a long, long long way to go! newsflash : nobody cares about your pimple. It will cause 0 effect on how other people look at you.

Oxy pads and cream, and wash your face every morning and night.

Drugs, creams and typical acne cures sometimes work in a partial way but the results are temporary and the side effects are nasty. The tiny handful acne sufferers who have learned how to clear their acne from within and without ever using drugs or over the counters are the only people in the world who keep their skin clear permanently. Now you can learn these clear skin secrets from a nutritionist and a former sufferer who knows from real-world experience exactly how it's done with the knowledge on through online.
