What to do about this AFC guy?

What would ya guys do about a total AFC guy thats hanging around a girl that your trying to work on (dear god you should see this guy, it almost criminal how AFC he is).

Anyway I'm making some really good progress with a certain girl over the last few weeks (no sex yet but working on it ) but whenever I've met her in my local drinking hole there has been this absolute chump hanging around her constantly. I don't mind about it (find it rather amusing) but its getting kinda irritating. Last night for example we were making out in a quiet corner at the end of the night and the AFC walks up and taps her on the shoulder asking when she'd be done to talk to him for a bit.
I was thinking wtf, thats kinda rude but just laughed it off and made a joke saying "oh look ya boyfriend wants some attension". She didn't go and he looked kinda pissed off, we carry on

Other examples include this guy basically interogating me to see if I was good enough for her, trying to join in every conversation we have until she tells him in so many words to f*ck off and he's basically trying to c*ckblock me at every opportunity.

She says he's a good friend but she's tried to get it through to him to stop this sh*t but he won't listen. She a very quiet girl as well and I don't think she wants to hurt the guys feeling too much.

This girl is definant LTR material but I can't bear the though of not be able to go with her to my local hang-out with bother from this chump every 2 seconds.

What would be the DJ thing to do here to basically get him to f*ck off.

since he seems frickin' persistent, just leave him with no options. Meet the girl someplace private, or actually go out ona date together, instead of always meeting in a bar. Unless he's got her phone tapped, how will he know where to be?

Well we've done the date thing and met up elsewhere but this particular place is my favourite hang-out and he's always there. I don't wanna have to put up with him when I want a quiet drink with my buds.

Ignore him until he gets in your way of doing things. Then deal with him accordingly. Don't misread. Do not seek confrontation, but if he gets confrontative deal with him. For example, if he would have tried to interrogate me I would have found a way to let him know that I have no time for his crap. I don't usually post long but this touches on something I had to deal with a few weeks ago. I went to an outting with a woman I'm in an LTR with and she was telling me the week prior how if her friends came up to me and gave me the line "You better not treat her bad or else" speech, to not take it personally as a threat. I told her that that was childish bull****. I'm an easy going fellow. Insults I can let roll off my back like water. But threats of any kind I take very seriously and I told her that I will not tolerate being threatend. Come the day of the outing. I was very sociable with her friends. Looked everyone directly in the eyes while speaking. Strangely enough I didn't get threatend even once

I'd just ignore him if I were you. If this girl is really interested in you, she'll ignore him or quickly brush him off like dandruff. Confronting this chump is only going to create drama between you, the girl, and the moron. The moron is friends with the girl and the girl probably knows the moron more than she knows you so her instincts is most likely to side with him unless she thinks he is annoying. The moron will constantly ride your ass until you beat the hell out of him and she won't like you afterwards.

Like flies, gnats, or mosquitoes, ignoring them makes them less annoying. If someone is ignored, they'll go away.

If its the later let me suggest you get the hell out of there, because no matter what you do and how she feels, you are going to have this guy right in the middle all the time, i just ended a relationship like that and it was HELL.

My ex g/f AFC friend used to go as far as to claim he was going to kill himself if she stop being a friend, so she was basically blackmailed emotionally, after a few months of this i simply told her she could go live her life with her friend, i had better things to do.

It's really not your call....its her call since its her friend. You could chase her all she wants but in the end she will be doing the picking. If this guy is hanging around, he's hanging around for a reason.
