I'm so pissed. I can't go even 60% of weight or intensity the past two weeks on my triceps. When I am doing something lets say skullcrushers, when I am pushing back up my left elbow just starts TINGLING, TWITCHING, pulsating just like a real fvcking b1tch. If you hold your left arm straight out in front of you and with your right hand feel the point of your elbow then come about half an inch to the right of the outstretched arm and there is another smaller point. In between the two bony points there is something. Is this a tendon, is this a ligament, what is this? Whatever it is it, it hurts like fvcking hell when I do triceps and it makes me want to destroy stuff, punch somebody, and nuke france all at once. My arms are of equal strength and I do all my workouts in very tight form so why the hell is it only my left elbow region? What can I do to stregthen/rehab this area, Hope somebody in here knows their biology....... thanks

Thats whats commonly referred to as your "funny bone"

Sometimes when you hit it on something it will numb your arm or make it super hot/ tingly.

sounds like a case of budding tendinitis. i.e. BACK OFF...and stop lifting for a couple of weeks. You don't want to fukk up your elbow joint. Then you'll be out for MONTHS. When you do start lifting again, ICE IT DOWN AFTER THE WORKOUT.

Diesel, so this is a tendon? I know tendinitis is nothing to mess around with because I have permanently screwed up my achilles tendon with scar tissue 4 years ago by just assuming it was "just pain" and nothing else. A little more info, it doesn't hurt afterwards, (unlike my achilles injury which hurt still even if I was off my feet for a month) it only hurts when I am about 4 reps from failure, and then it starts just twitching and shaking. Also it doesn't hurt when I do chest or shoulders, well actually when I am getting the FIRST long rep into position up on incline dbs or db shoulder press it gives a little twitch. My triceps (and biceps) are the most underdeveloped part of my body, so if you still think its tendinitis I will back off. Obviously I can still do legs and cardio, will doing back and biceps hurt recovery?

dude, I'm not an orthopedist. You've just given me a bunch of new symptoms that I don't know what to make of..

If you're that worried about it, you should get it checked out by a M.D.

It could be lateral epicondilytis......big word for tennis elbow....I got too big too fast and my muscles outgrew my tendons....I had to quit lifting for like 3 months and it still hurts through my warm set. Take some time off.....look up some stuff on lateral epicondilytis and learn how to stretch your elbow......or better yet, go to the doctor :)

right on with the advice. that link helped alot (i had no clue i should keep it straight as often as possible). I am going to take a few weeks off and only lift legs/abs. I think my muscles maybe outgrew my tendons like djjj said... thanks
