What should i do?

So today i was running late for class, the bell was about to ring in a few minutes so i was rushing to get there. Then i see a girl ive been talking to so i greet her right before she goes into her class and i say to her "i think we should talk more often let me get your number". But then she said she had no cell phone and she was running late for class, she went into her classroom and that was that. So what do i do now, initially i thought this was an excuse for a no. Could very well be so im not too worried about it, but what would you guys suggest doing, should i next her, ask for her email tomarrow, or just wait for her to talk to me again, and if she never does next her?
Don't wanna be making the wrong decision here.
