What should go on the very first phone call?

I've been wondering about this. Say I meet a girl at a club or party and get her #. Should I immediately try to set up a date the first time I call her? Or should I just call her and ask her what's up? Remember, this would only be the 2nd time I've talked to her in her life.

Also, if it's the 2nd one, what should I talk about without it being real awkward?

It depends on where you are with the girl. If you got her phone number after only chatting for 5 minutes, you're going to need to build more attraction and rapport over the phone or she's just going to flake. Ideally you should'nt even need a phone number because you set a date while you first met her.
