Hi everyone I am a bit confused on what shirts to wear with a blazer. I have a midnight J crew blazer and look for good shirts to wear under it. What are those shirts called that people wear at night with blazers... those look casual. Can you wear dress shirts under the blazer or would that not be good? My friend asks for recommendation in shirts for casual wear and i pointed out some shirts to him but he told me those are dress shirts and not casual shirts.

I have this shirt in blue coast from banana republic

It is not fitted and stretch so it is a bit loose. Is that okay to wear with a blazer? I did this before. I want to know about those night life shirts but what are they called? Those that can be worn without a blazer and with a blazer and they look good. I also wear jeans with black shoes with this outfit.

Then i see this shirt

It doesn't say dress shirt so woudl this be compatible when going out at night? Are you even suppose to wear dress shirts with blazers or are they called casual shirts?

If these are not good, can anyone give me a link of some specific shirts I am talking about? Does it have to be a fitted or it can be stretched? Thanks.

You can wear anything with a blazer. Hell, even regular t-shirts.

Wear it with anything, print tees, dress shirts, polos, casual shirts, jeans, dockers, dress pants, athletic shoes, whatever. I personally like dress shirts the best with my blazers, but I go to more upscale spots in that kind of attire. I wouldn't go shopping dressed like that, but the blazer with a casual button shirt untucked and jeans isn't out of the question. Just mix it up, have fun with your style, and look what you think is your best.

This is what this forum is for. You don't like it, leave. Who the fvck are you anyone should fvcking stop doing anything? Why not be a big boy and help the brother instead of trying to be "cool and alpha ( I fvcking hate that term)".

My guess is you don't have any goddamned idea what to say which is why you speak bile, eeewww. HOW FVCKED UP YOU ARE.

what are you wearing a blazer for? what's the occasion? for casual wear, i don't recommend it. blazers over a T-shirt looks sloppy and lazy nor will it garner the sophistication or the sophisticated other you wish to attract.

It's actually a pretty popular look. But it's best if it's a nice tee, with a good design on it.
