What sets the don Juan apart from the common PUA?

Srsly?
I've been working the field and reading my ass off, and having great success( I'm still far from true don Juan)
A few of my friends have been calling me a pickup artist
From my guess a don Juan has more of a "I don't give a fvck" attitude
While a PUA recites lines and whatnot to pull any girl he wants...but it's not natural at all..and the PUA can't hold onto a women right?

Being a DJ is more like adopting a different attitude/mentality and life style. Doing this automatically attracts high value people into your life, both men and women. We're not pick up artists, because picking up women is not the main focus of a true DJ. It's more about becoming the kind of man WOMEN want to pick up. So while many people would consider a DJ a pick up artist, not all pick up artists are DJ's.

At least that's my take on it :)

To quickly sum up a Don Juan, think of a real man, but with women.

PUA's do have a "I don't give a ****" attitude, but they mainly only use techniques and word play.

DJ's are about changing their lives then comes the women. PUA's are generally about tricks and techniques.

BAM!! Gone.

9 months out of a very bad case of oneitis, I came here for myself rather than to pick up women and be more successful with them, my focus isnt women, Ive had sex with 3 women since the Oneitis, all pretty meaningless, so Im not interested in just geting sex and numbers.
Im more interested in being a better me, more attractive, mentaly, physically and emotionally.
now if you want to measure sucess, beciase of this forum and the advice and articles, Ive shed 10lbs, radically changed my diet, I workout with far more discipline and frequency than ever before and its getting me noticed.
My attitude is much better, Im more confident, fun and beter to be around, I was some of these things anyway but its better now.
Im happier in my own skin now, this place has played a good part in that, Im not sure a purely PUA approac would have done it for me.
Just my take on things

IMO if you take these PUA books too seriously you are bound to be boring... First of all, lots of canned stuff. You can work around that, but anyways, you are still following techniques and are analyzing stuff "Damn now i'ma neg hit her" and that is using your left side of the brain... That is theory, it's so boring, I would rather be in a philosophy class... The natural responds according to the circumstances, he's in the moment, it's really lots of good clean fun, it's authentic, nothing can beat that!

BTW, "i don't give a **** attitude" damn that is some weird ass stuff... What the heck?!?!?!?! Never in my life I would consider such an abomination... Outrageous. You go out, chase some girls you find attractive, if she rejects you, you try again bros. That's how it's done!!!!!!!! If you see it aint working, you forget about it, and maybe try later or whatever, but you in the meanwhile go search other girls... What kind of a creepo doesn't care about girls?!?!? You have to be gay to think that is a good idea. OBVIOUSLY, friggin obviously you don't care, because there are like 100 other cool girls (when you go clubbing) I dare you, I double dare you try and care for the one that rejected you, you can't, it's impossible, your brain won't allow such stupidity... :D

I see no distinction. The generic sosuave forum persona is almost identical to any dating forum, but this site has a pretty small success rate.
I can't speak for other people, but this site (and only this site - I haven't ever used other dating forums) completely changed my life for the better. I'm happier, healthier, and get laid regularly. I have used a few basic PUA concepts with meeting new women, but for the most part I stick to the DJ mindset and lifestyle stuff... really helps me resist the temptations of oneitis.

A DJ? a PUA?

it's funny how people try to aspire to become a Don Juan. to put some kind of label of themselves, like magically, it gives you some advantage over others because you are a DJ!! or a PUA.

Just keep improving yourself, do whatever the hell you want, use lines if you want, or not. NOBODY CARES if you are a PUA or a DJ.

and if you do, don't strive to become a "DJ" strive to become the best you that you can, and keep working because it gives you a sense of purpose to yourself, not because it will give you more women. whatever that means.

honestly i've learned nobody cares if you know how to pick up women. Becoming a mature man, a responsible individual who is in charge of his own life is about figuring out what you really want, and going after it without apology.

if what you want is find a girlfriend, then go for it
if you wanna stay single and party, go for it.
if you wanna learn to talk to strangers and be more social, learn to engage others, make conversations, generate attraction in the opposite sex (being a "DJ") go for it.

just understand that "DJs" are no different from anybody else, they are just individuals who figured out what they really want, and go for it like there was no tomorrow. they know how they wanna be treated by others, and they dont accept anything but that kind of treatment.

so seek to get in touch with your own inner wants and needs, not a dumb label as being a "DJ" its seriously childish.
