I think in the end we tend to mostly remember good memories.

Good poll...I've always been curious about this. I think the longer you were together, the more likely she is to return.

I think how it ends is a big factor. If one party cheated on the other it makes it easier for the other party to have the "you're dead to me I never want to see, speak, or be around you ever again" attitude.

If it ends out of anything less messy than that, the chance that both parties come to terms with their hatred for one another down the line is more likely and less ill feelings will be harbored.

It seems likely that sex happens again - but is it just a one off thing?? (In my case so far)

Need a poll to see what percentage of different things happen eg. sex once/few times/ regularly/ get back into rel short/long......
