Quote: "I get fan mail from female readers who are slogging through my book when suddenly, inside their heads, the light goes on. All of a sudden they get the WHOLE thing. They realize they were raised in a society that taught them to mistrust and demonize men. They are stuck in a rotten marriage. So they try, just for a few days, to defer to their husband, instead of constantly bickering with him. They discuss family decisions together, but he gets the final say. And HE thereby assumes full responsibility for his decision. If something goes wrong it IS his fault. She’s FREE! Which is just what she wants. The burden of worrying about everything is removed from her and suddenly, magically, her marriage becomes delightful. Her husband thrives in the glow of this newfound respect and he behaves more responsibly than she could ever have forced him to behave in 20 years of criticism and abuse. It’s a wonderful thing."

Good find bro.

Just a quick comment, I'd like to hear what he has to say about the people's of Iraqs reaction to us going after Saddam, etc etc etc. The media paints a false picture that we were very wrong for going into Iraq, which I believe is untrue. There are in fact many pictures out there of happy Iraqi's with US soldiers, but the media doesn't show them, now does it?

Fasinating stuff. I may actually buy that book as he does come up with some interesting views & ideas. While i don't agree with everything he said, that interview has given me a slightly different outlook on things.

yes, it really does seem interesting. I agree with alot of it, and theres some that I'm not so sure about as well. I actually emailed him about the Iraq war and what his opinion was on it, and he gave me another interesting look at it.

I think he'd be okay with me posting what he said, so here it is:
"So far we have killed over 100,000 Iraqis to "liberate" them from Saddam. So
there are 100,000 people who already feel it isn't worth it. Daily reports
say the iraqis want us out of there.

But my issue is the US government and the lies it employed to take us into
war. We cannot go to war based on lies. That simply is not acceptable.

I barely survived the Vietnam Era and this is the same thing all over again.
I guess that's why I feel so passionately about it.

Thanks for gettinhg back to me about the interview.
