What makes HS football players attractive?

Just a question I'm curious about. I'm a football player and definitely notice the change in how girls viewed me all though nothing changed about my self (same personality)

same thing that makes cheerleaders attractive; the expectation that they should be good looking makes them better than they actually are. that and they have higher value in the eyes of the student body. plus the whole jock testosterone appeal.

Social status! Haven't you read the HS Bible? Hell even the DJ Bible. High School girlies are all about status, power, rank etc....you could be the fattest motherf*cker and get ass because you're football captain, rich-guy party thrower....seriously, just make yourself known around school, and girls will think, "Wow he knows a lot of people, he must be cool." Why else do you think immature HS girlies are all into movie stars and shyt!!!

Be able to toot a girl's ego by letting her show you off to her friends your know.
