Sometimes when I start working out in some way I get this painful needly/pringly feeling all over my body. I think it's from try to warm up incorrectly, but still it worries me a bit. I only get this feeling occassionally. Does anyone know what this is?

ALL over your body?

Is it in your head as well? or just your body?

Depending on how healthy (or unhealthy) you are, this pringly feeling could just be your system getting shocked at the sudden movements. If you haven't worked out for a while, your cardiovascular system has become stagnant and stale. Your heart's just going through routine, and the veins have shrinked because of the lack of challenge to grow and expand. It's almost like your system is supposed to function as a V8 engine, but now it's just shrunk to the function of a V4 engine.

If this is the case, try warming up VERY slow. For example, take up walking for a good 2 or 3 laps before getting into your workout. Stretch well and actually take the time to feel your body getting into the motion.

However, if you're really healthy, and you're getting this pringly feeling when warming up, this is abnormal. You might be having issues with your nervous system.

In any case, a slower, more comfortable pace of warm-up should do the job. Enjoy your workout.

It's all over my body, it's a sensation on my skin. I don't feel anything at all inside my head, although the sensation is sometimes on my head in areas (it's random).

I notice that this happens when I'm not feeling 100% too. (Early morning biking sometimes, wanting a nap, working out in a dusty room (cause of today's pringly feeling). If i'm feeling fine generally this doesn't happen. I'm somewhat healthy (My diet is really good and I walk around a bit, no serious workouts or anything, sometimes I just dance like a maniac to hard dance music in my room)

Thanks for the advice.

Does anyone know what this feeling is? I heard it's something to do with capillaries being overpushed and bursting or something like that.

pins and needles, where you get numb is when you are pinching a nerve somewhere in your body.

If your going ALL OUT in your room head banging that may have crossed over a few nerves in your neck that get engorged or inflamed causing the pringly sensation over your body.

My advice, go get a good massage and do some cardio

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

It isn't numb tingly feeling, its a painful pringly feeling. You know how it feels when your body goes numb you feel the tingle all over? Well this "tingle" is more dispersed in an area and it freaking HURTS whenever I feel a "tingle".

Anyway, I think I know what it is now, so dont worry.

I had a painful needly feeling on various parts of my body when I was mowing the pasture one time. Come to find out, it was bumblebees.

In all seriousness, if you have the insurance, see a specialized doctor, get X-rays, etc etc.
