What's your definition?

I've heard debates over what's more important between money, looks, and game. But what exactly is it?

I've also heard people say that game doesn't really exist and is just something that people with no money or status say.

Surely, there's SOMETHING to it because there is the rare rich guy who can't get laid because he lacks it completely.

I don't think it's lines and routines. Is it inner stuff and confidence? Is it simply social status? Is it the ability to form connections with people? Does it often or always involve lying? Is it taking a shower in the morning and cutting your fingernails? Is it having a beautiful white smile?

Maybe the reason I have none is because it doesn't exist?

Game is life. It's how you maneuver.
Life is a big ass stage. You choose your role and play it, but play it well.

Seduction isnt just about women. You can seduce your co-workers. You can seduce your boss
You can seduce your boss's boss.
You can seduce customers.

It's so much deeper than women. Only men operating on a low frequency mindset would view game as a way to get laid once in a while.

I seduce my bosses. I get a longer rope at work to play with.
I seduce my landlord. We are so tight we don't even have a lease anymore. Or even a set rent due date. As long as its paid in the month.
I seduce my neighbor's. I have a permanent dinner invite.

This is game and the power of social dynamic expertise. So my definition is
Consciously behaving on a level that creates a subconscious reaction on a target.
Usually that means being liked.

I do as @cola does with great results. The term "game" encapsulates life just the same as the famous Shakespeare quote:

"All the world's a stage...and all the men and women merely players..."

So basically just being a likeable person.

I've spent too much time in a hospital to think that life is just a big game.

And especially when the end result of "game" with women can be the birth of a child or the man getting his bank account raped for the rest of his life.

It seems you are extremely anxious about your money. Game helps you to significantly reduce your chance of making uninformed life decisions.

Game isn't a way to trivialize life. It's called game because you play life like you'd play a board game, by learning the rules and finding the optimal path to victory. That's the essence of what game is, finding the way to win. To do so you must consider past experience, be aware of the present experience and calculate the most probably future experience if you do X, Y and Z. With practice you'll understand how the world works, why people do certain things, how you can affect others and predict other people's moves to some degree. It will eventually become natural and life becomes a hell of a lot easier.

If having to use only a word or two, I would say its "confidence" and "seduction".

I assume it's an evolution of the terms:
  • Playboy
  • Player
  • Game

Yes, but this quote implies you are acting a part at a certain moment, and not identifiable as that part. We have a foot on the stage, and a foot......

Scrap that, for it would only create a dichotomy in our own existence. No, you should play your part as an emanation of your own authentic being, a persona not a mask.

So Shakespeare was wrong. But then he wasn't really, as he licensed himself to say all manner of things... negative capability and all that. What he's given us in that quote is just one mode of being. Unfortunately, we in the modern world have taken it too seriously.
