This place is horrible now. It is a cluster **** of bad advice to bad questions. Posts about masterbation flood the message board. Newbs give newbs worse advice. I see 32 year old men telling 15 year old kids what they need to do etc, as if somehow a 32 year old man whose still on a dating site is a success*.

This site opened doors on the mystery of women to me. I come back and it's in shambles. ****ing ruined. Where did everybody go? The insightful posts that once embodied everything a true "Don Juan" (and i use the term loosely cause i'm not sure i like what a "don juan" represents at this point) represents. Everything is field reports of of military like strategy totally stripping the essence away. To be Don Juan is to be capable of anything. Not to be some loser strategically making moves on a petrified girl who thinks you're a ****ing robot.

Advice like "Read the bible" IS NOT GOOD ADVICE. Wheres pook? Wheres Lorenzo? Wheres Diesel? Wheres the old school advice posters? What the **** happened to this place? If a man had a legitamate problem and presented his problem in a nice neat format where it was able to be understood by his peers, he would recieve unparralleled support and advice from his colleauges. Or at least a witty flaming thread that everyone loves to take part in.

Somebody help these people before this turns into SoGay.com where afc's give eachother poems to spoon feed there best girl friend in hopes of making life into a ****ing romantic comedy. wake up.

Here's a little rundown of some of the posters from the past you might be looking for:

Pook - Drops in every so often. Still offers some quality advice.

DEISEL - Stopped coming to the site after him and Demon got suspended.

Demon - Banned later.

Lorenzo - Went through some name changes (KinoOI, ScarefaceOI, RedBLUEOI, TonythetigerOI.) Hasn't appeared too often in the past 6 months. Mostly found on AIM.

Anti-Dump - Hasn't been heard or seen from in a long time.

SexPDX - I think he's still around, though I am not sure.

xblitz44x - Around and offering top notch advice.

Sir_Chancealot - Hasn't been seen in a while.

Some of the older posters are either mainly in the Tips section or the Mature Man section.

2 problems I see:

1)there are TONS of new people and the veteran posters eventually move on with their lives. I didn't post here for more than a year before coming back recently. I took the time to work on my inner game, which is what most of the noobs should be doing.

2)the focus has shifted away from "pursuing your dreams, becoming a man, being in control, etc." and more towards the rules and techniques.

The problem is the veterans don't haze the newbies for asking ****ing stupid dweeb ass questions. Crazy tried posting some guidelines but you'd have to mod 40 hours a week just to cut out the bull**** ass questions and the 50 cent wannabies.

Mature man coulda been the answer , but what's really needed is an expert DJ forum , so if you post something stupid then the others will have a right to flame you.

I know I personally log in more then 40 hours a week here...Sometimes I average close to 10 a day (hey, it's the summer and I'm bored until summer school starts.) Changes have been tossed around, but if needbe, closing all "newbie" questions could be the answer.

After this at the top of your post, I realised how pointless the rest would be to read. The most successful pickup artists in the world are in their thirties and fourties.

Almost all of the newbie posts/questions can be answered by searching or by reading the bible.

the poster is right on. i was thinking the same thing.

I came here 2 years ago on a daily basis. After getting the boast I needed, I went on with my life and started coming back every so often in the last 2 months and it has degressed tenfold.

There were no where near as many post 2 years ago, but the quality was unbelievable. You could ask a question and it would be answered pretty darn well. Now you ask a quesion and you get the "read the bible" post, the "you are a ****head" post and Maybe, somehwere in there, some decent advice.

It's to the point now that I just look in the archivies if there is something I want to find out. I don't bother posting any longer.

There are obviously a LOT of guys with a LOT of problems. Being here is helping them improve themselves, enjoy their lives and at times express their dismay and anger.

If helping an extra hundred guys means spending a few extra minutes looking for the good advice and you have a problem with this, then I feel you are being selfish.

The more guys the better, they are all learning as they go and will grow as people. I will stick around to try and throw some light onto a situation in which I have experience, and one day when I am in a situation I cannot understand, maybe one of these "newbs" will be able to help through their experience along their way.

Yes there is SOME good advice out there, I like some of the newere people and I know how to spot them.

HOwever, everyone isn't as fortunate as me to have been hear 2 years ago. in otherwords, they can't tell the bad from the good advice.

If you get 8 guys telling you 8 things, what in the world is a newbie to do?Each one of the guys trying to better the first. That's my problem.

In all fairness, "read the bible" comments do have a point. A lot of people will say "well the bible doesn't have anything that applies to my situation", and yes that may be true. The bible does not have a technical answer to every problem, but it teaches you the basic philosophies of being a DJ (as does reading the articles on the website, and the hall of fame posts).

Once you get a good grasp on these DJ philosophies, your ways of thinking change and you become capable of solving your own problems.

to show what I mean, I made a post around a month ago about this girl who I am good friends with.

Granted, I never asked for advice, I knew how to handle the situtation. I never come her to ask for advice, but to provide it and to rant to some friends and understand people here.

However, some of the responses I got where just horrindous, and If I would have listened, I would have been up **** creek.


I have heard one guy tell another guy that he is gay for eatting salads, and he needs to have a "man's meal" with stake and potatos. It would make girls think you are more of a man.

WTF?

The main problem here is that most of the guys here aren't trying to be "Duan Jauns" I have seen more people here with oneits than an AFC convention, and if you could give them the magical potion to get that one girl, they would leave and never come back.

They throw around advice like " be sure of yourself" but yet ask petty questions such as "what does this mean" or "why did she do this".

If you are sure of yourself, you always assume that it's for your benefit.

I was in the movies tonight, went to go see "The day after tomorrow" (not a bad movie either).

anyway, I went by myself, like always, and when I got there there was this guy with his GF, and this extra tag along girl who was there. She was around 26ish, and the second I walked in the door she had her eyes on me. Instead of me wondering what she looked at me for and if she thought I was good looking, I just went up and sit next to her. Turns out she is engaged, but I still got her phone number, and could have made out with her, but that would have been just plain wrong in my book.

anyway, alot of the advice here could be summed up with just "take chances". "Be agressive". It's nothing wrong with persuing women. Hell, it's fun.
