What does it mean when your girlfriend says, " I love to just go out and show you off." ?

and what does it mean if you girlfriend complains about a guy at her internship, who is also and intern, and she feels like he treats her like she doesnt know what shes doing. She complains a alot. I basically told her, who gives a ****, just do your job.

Well we live together, so i know where she is all the time. Usually she complains when i pick her up from work. She never really had many friends, she has one female friend that she spend the night with every other week. Otherwise she studies, works or is with me.

This is what I was thinking. Not to try and worry you, but the two people at the office always nipping at each other are the ones that one day end up in the supply closet.....not looking for supplies :/

When talking to her about him, possibly throw in some subtle reasoning for his behavior.....stuff that doesn't shine the brightest light....he's doing this because: he's immature, doesn't know how to deal with women, girlfriends ugly and can't get girls, is beta with his friends so he has to act superior, has a small penis.

Biggest problem with LTR: After you know and have discussed everything about each other, and drilled every common interest into the ground, it is incredibly difficult to have anything to talk about outside of the **** that bugs you, and every day, there's **** that bugs you, cause there's so many crazy, ****in whack jobs that do dumb ****. We happy people keep our heads above the water and don't give a ****. So what? Their ****ed-uppery does not influence my internal state because I am master of that.

Her job is boring. When she comes home, you don't have a lot of plans 4-5 days of the week, so what are you going to talk about? Why she doesn't like her job, because that's more visceral than the fact that she doesn't like that LTRs get dried up and boring and the two of you have no one to blame but yourselves. But that's real life, that's like 95% of long relationships.

Maybe this guy has some sort of chemical interference that makes her stress about him. Or maybe she's bored and girls love to ***** when they're bored. I'd say the latter. Fix the boring. Easier said than done after a year and a half of doing things together.

No hes never seen me before. She rants for a few minutes on the way home, she has this older female boss who favors him, and doesn't seem to like her much.

Really what it is, Is she feels she does not get enough work and he takes it all. Feels like he trys to impress the bosses this way, and make her look not as good.

She complains she runs out of work and has to go looking for work to do.

Coming from a finance major...

First off...she's a financial analyst intern. This can range from actually helping the full time analysts with relevant projects and work to fetching Starbucks for the full-timers.

If she is actually doing finance-related work, honestly she probably doesn't know what she's doing.

It also sounds like this guy is a one-upper, or simply a better intern than your girlfriend.
