What does it take to take a girl's virginity?

See, this girl I dated for about two weeks is a virgin, and I talked to her ex and he told me that she's not giving it up.

Now, I'm going to assume that he isn't as smooth as me (dosen't know how to properly seduce [neither do I, but I know enough to get her aroused] girls).

But besides that, what is the general guideline for landing virgins? I've made out with her a few times but I never really tried escalating from there.

I just need a bit of advice, like if I should keep persisting or just wait till she loses it.

And for the record, I don't want to have sex with her just because she's a virgin, I want to because she's a fine young lady ;]

The best way to get a girl to lose it is to use a tactic not many people talk about in this forum. Love. Hate to sound sappy, but it would be best for both of you if you were in love before she were to give you that privilege.
