It means Average Frustrated Chump, which is a negative term primarily used to define guys who have little or no success with women.
I would not associate yourself with this term, even if you display some of the qualities. Everyone is learning. There is always someone suaver who can come along and make you look AFC. As long as you are willing to progress, you are not AFC, regardless of your current status.

-pay for everything
-too many compliments
-call the girl too much

AFCs treat women like they are heirs to the planet, instead of as equals.

In my book, AFC is a guy who submits to women. He gives them all the power in hopes that she'll appreciate his kindness. It's a nice thought, but clearly not how women want to be treated.
An AFC may lay women from time to time, but he has trouble keeping them interested thereafter that. He has no concept of what really turns a woman on.
