there is a girl I like who works in a bar. Basically I think
she likes me, but I left it to late to ask her out as now I
think she has a boyfriend. He and her are always in the bar
together, this has only happened in the last week.

Since I believe that she is seeing this guy, if I am in the bar
were she works (sometimes I have a couple of drinks after work)
I leave pretty quickly, but stay polite, as I don't want her to
have me hanging around listerning to her woes etc. She knows I like her through drunken text messages, what a mistake!

Last night I was in the bar and she came up and put her arms
around me, and said you left quick last night. She keeps making
a point if I leave fairly early in the evening or not saying goodbye.
So I start to talk to her and ask her if she will be drinking Vodka
and coke, and her reply is if Darren is buying me one yes (this is the suspected boyfriend). Uptil a few days ago we bought one another drinks if we had met in the bar. So I just continued to chat with my friends. Question is, do you think she maybe being funny with me because I don't show her any attention now. I mean why would I stay talking to her with that AFC with her?.
What does she expect?, and why the cold only if Darren is buying
when days early we bought one another drinks. She kept looking at me aswell after I got talking to my friends. Any ideas here what to do?

Several things wrong here and it may be too late to satisfactorily salvage this to be a healthy go at dating.

First, you did wait too long. Girls instinctively know it when a man has blown a perfectly good chance. "Wimp" quickly flashed across her mind, however she's also watching you very closely to see if that suspicion will be validated. Every day, every encounter you have with her where you don't seize the day or opportunity, her suspicions are confirmed. As her suspicions are confirmed, the more she acts moody and condescending to you. In other words, the less she respects you as a 'man'.

The only hope is to go in there next time and do something completely different. What might that be? It could entail asking for her HOME phone number. Or telling her that next Tuesday night you have tickets to the hockey game or bowling and that you'd like her to join you.

same girl dude. Last night she refused drinks, and she was discussing fears with a friend, she turned to me and asked me whats your greatest fear? and before I had chance to reply said "being stalked by an ex girlfriend like me?". What the hell does that mean?

I have banned myself from this pub from now on.
