What do you consider tall?

I really wish i was taller i have outgrown both parents, but still envy those with height advantage. It may seem ridiculous im posting this becuase i am 510-5'11. Id say im upper tall. when im beside my friends who are 6'2, 6'4 i feel like a midget. When i got out with them, i feel that girls will always look to me second. Am i being naive?? is 5'11 actually a height i should be happy with? Im also worried because i want to a respected businessman someday, or manager. I read a book that taller people have 5 advantages over everyone else(respect, admiration, power, fear, protection) i can elaborate on those 5 if you want. I know people 5'7 would give an arm and a leg to be 5'11. Im sorry this is sort of a rant, i just want to grow but im already 19 and have facial hair so GG

Generally girls I think will say 6'. Girls also will generally say anything over 6'3" is kinda freaky.

I think I'm about same height as you. My goal was always to be 6 foot tall. I dunno if I stopped growing yet or what, hopefully I do reach it though. I still have faith

Theres not much difference in being 6'2" if you're 5'10" I am 6'2" and my buddy who is 5'10" is like right up there with me. I have long hair so that probably gives me the extra inch or two.

hmm Im 6'2" and baurman is right friends in the 5'10 - 6ft range dont register as being much shorter, seems like same ball park.
Also as a side note most dudes who are 6'4 or over have fvcked up body shapes. A bit like really tall 6ft+ girls generally have fvcked up body shapes. Dont say 'but models are tall' coz they are exceptions to the rule.

At 5'11 you dont get any advantages or disadvantages from being tall or short, consider yourself lucky.

Average height for a male in england and america is 5'9.5. 5'11 is tall, I'm 5'9.

Keep striving to be "Mr perfect" and you'll never get anywhere. If you feel short go out and try your luck, most girls aren't bothered so long as you've got the attitude, aren't hideious and are within normal body proportions.

Being tall and attractive are over rated, why? Because most of these guys are just like shorter guys e.g they're bumbling nerds and are uncomfortable around women.

You serious bro? Any man who is atleast 5'10" tall should not be complaining.

I am 6' and I am sick of this height thing. Shorter people blame ALL of their problems on height and think their world would be perfect if they were 6 feet tall or above. Well, take it from me it ain't!! I DON'T have women throwing themselves at me because I am tall!!

You should have slept more as a kid, I used to sleep 9-10 hours during the summer. I remember one summer I grew 8 in lol! Now I'm 6'1 and chicks always tell me I'm tall. Generally chicks like guys over 6 ft lol sorry to hear your 5'11. You can always try surgery for a last option, guys can grow in college too. My dad grew another 4 in in college and was 6'5! :yes:

im 5'7...maybe 5'8 when i have good posture... i could care less about taller guys.. i jump higher, run faster, and am stronger than most guys taller than me dispite their weight and reach advantage.. I've hooked up with girls close to 6' .. you know how i do this? simple, i know i;m the man, and when it gets down to it, being that tall doesn't help you in bed.

While I am NOT saying it is NOT an advantange, being tall is FAR from being the end all be all. Don't you realize only about 1 in 4 men in the US are 5'11" and taller? If height was such a big deal, only 25% of us tall men would be getting all of the women. While I guess I do ok for myself, I don't have women throwing themselves at me, then again I don't look like a GQ model.

i'm 5'4"... i do blame a lot of my problems on my height... because i'm shorter than average height girls.

i'm good looking but MUCH shorter than the average male.

Then again, maybe I am wrong. I have noticed in the last few days, alot of tall men (6'+) seem to always be with hot looking girls (even if they have average looking faces). However, maybe this is just a coincidence.

5'11 3/4" height and 6'1" with shoes on. Most people think I am over 6 feet, but I am not.

She started the conversation because she thought he was tall, so asked him about it, your friend goes and kills off the covertsation with a dead end answer.

Does anyone else see this a blindingly obvious?

I'm 5'6 .5 but i've never really thought about height at all. When i approach, that doesn't even appear in my mind. I doubt i'll grow much more cause i'm approaching 18 years old in about 6 months.

Is it something to worry about? It hasn't affected me much so far.
