Buyer's remorse. Not rape.

This is the reason why I avoid picking up drunk girls. The odd to get falsely accused of rape is low and it's easy sex but one crazy woman is enough to fvck you over.

The muso here is facing 25 years. Guess what the punishment would be for the woman if she's found out to be lying? She'd be sent to get psychiatric help, paid for by tax payers, which she would just ignore after one or two sessions.

Poor guy, I really feel sorry for him. He must be under A LOT of stress at the moment, afterall, if convicted, he's facing 25 f*ckin' yrs. Even if he was guilty, I can't understand how the justice system can allow 25 yrs. The justice system is so flawed and backwards, it's severely nauseating. This country scares me, it really does. I hope to be out of here one day in the near future. I genuinely hope this woman goes to hell when she dies(or karma comes back to take a nasty bite out of her). Because that's where she belongs.

1. Two GROWN women club hopping with a stranger

2. Two GROWN women going to the strangers house after the clubs

3. Two GROWN women going to sleep in the guys bed

Sorry, but every women (especially the boot wearing, miniskirt club type) knows that you go home and ''sleep'' in a strangers bed for one reason and one reason only.

I think he will be found not guilty because that writer testified and corroborated the guy's story about how the two girls were dancing provactively with the guy at the bar.

PLUS, she wasn't wearing any underwear under a mini skirt. If that isn't a sign of sluttiness, then I don't know what is.

The Times-Picayune does not identify alleged victims of rape.

They shouldn't identify alleged perpetrators of rape. Your life is ruined whether you did it or not.

Imagine how that would ruin your game if it got around town you were once accused of rape. It wouldn't matter if you had absolutely nothing to do with it.

Well the judge declared a mistrial after the jury couldn't decide who was telling the truth. So it has been rescheduled for June.

... are both just strange. I can understand why the jury couldn't tell who was telling the truth.

My guess is that the friend is married (or in a serious relationship) and does not want to get with this crazy b!tch again for fear of revealing her wh0rish cheating azz.

What's also very disturbing about this case is that the law in democratic countries is meant to be found upon "innocent till proven guilty" but this man, yet to be found guilty, has already been "trialed by the media" and has his personal info all over the place. If he gets released later, how many people do you think will remember or even believe that he's actually innocent? Or will they simply remember that he was the accused in a rape case?

It's his word against hers, no evidence, and lots of witnesses suggesting their actions showed they were consensual. There is no reason to believe what the woman is saying even if she were telling the truth. Why the DA even sent this case to the court for prosecution is beyond me.

This will be thrown out for sure...it shouldn't have even made it to trial with so little evidence.

Like Jitterbug says, though, the defendant has already lost regardless of the verdict just by being implicated in this "case." His name is indelibly connected with a rape trial--try explaining that one to your next employer.

Just another reason to start vetting the girls you sleep with--when you mess with a low quality chick with no integrity, you're rolling the dice. You have a lot more to lose than she does.
