I was in a restaurant today when I ran into a female friend lunching with her co-workers. She is married and although we fooled around once upon a time, we never did the deed because we agreed that it would create more problems than it solves. Anyway she invited me to join them and I did. The last one of her co-workers to arrive was an attractive blond who sat across from me. After we were introduced, the blonde points out that she and I had talked on the phone a few times although we never had met before. What happened was, about nine months ago, a family member of mine became acquainted with her and upon finding out she was recently divorced, mentioned that I was in the same boat. He acquired her number, passed it along to me, and after him going on and on about how great she was and what a wonderful catch she would be, I called her a couple of times. She was pleasant enough although she said she really wasn't interested in dating anyone right then. The last conversation we had, she said she was busy at the moment and would call me back. She never did so I nexxed her. Today she spent more of the lunch hour chatting with me than she did any of her co-workers. We talked about our divorces, children, careers and whatever. The conversation flowed pretty well for the hour or so we were there. I would sometime break it off intentionally to see if she would start it back up. Eventually she would but it would often be a statement rather than a question directed at me. She would maintain eye contact for a moment and then look down, then back up at me. But the main thing that really puzzled me was the way she kept playing with her earrings. Her hair is pretty short and she was wearing these long earrings which she kept twirling with her fingers while we were talking. Does anyone have any insight on how I should read this woman?

SHE'S MARRIED, LEAVE HER ALONE.....good grief dude. I'm no "master don juan" but come on man get you act together, she wasn't interested in you the first time. Sex doesn't really complicate things in this day and age. That's a convenient excuse.

A lot of guys think women playing with their hair and stuff means they're attracted to you. I'm saying it isn't "significant" enough to pay attention to. I see women do things like this ALL THE TIME, driving, sitting, talking, walking, etc. The only way to find out about her IL is to ask her out.

I was watching a movie the other night with a couple of friends. One guy and a girl. The girl was playing with her hair while we watched the movie, do you think it really meant anything worth mentioning? There are so many reasons why women do little things like that.

The reason they do those things is simple, insecurity. Their self-esteem is often pitifully low and they have an unhealthy, almost narcotic desire for the approval of others. Unfortunately, the same reaction is likely to take place whether they're attracted to you or not. They want you to like them irrespective of reciprocation. Because it validates them, with the added bonus of giving them something to complain about.

She's blonde. and if you don't know how to read her mind, you are worse. Hey Don't steal a wife. That is not a good idea.
