It's summer and I need some reading; it doesn't have to be about girls.

I think I have read the prince, great gatsby, manifesto and found them to my liking. I feel these days that I should not only learn how to score with girls but also grow something deep within and reading some great books (that successful don juans read) will be good for me b/c it fed their minds to become good with not only women, but also life. So give me your best shot fellas. Thanks

"One Small Step Can Change Your Life: The Kaizen Way"
Robert Maurer

Helps you to tackle big, seemingly overwhelming tasks or goals by taking tiny initial steps. This method bypasses the fear center of the brain and helps to make life much more manageable.

I can't recommend it highly enough. It has changed my life.

I'm more into history & spy thrillers. My last serious gf & I bonded a lot over books. I'm reading a book called Into the Land of Bones. Its about Alexander the Great and his campaign in Bactria

"Awaken the Giant Within" by Anthony Robbins. By far the best book Ive read so far. Didn't finish it yet, it got stolen.

"The four hour work week" by Tim Ferriss. Reading it now. It's solid.

Eckhart Tolle is cool too.

I am a Murakami Haruki fan. The Wind-Up Bird Cronicles was amazing. Kafka on the Shore was simply mind blowing.

My Lord, I realize that I'm missing out on a lot as my reading had diminished over the years, or rather, has been replaced by technical manuals.

I'm glad I just got a Kindle. I really want to enjoy some more of the classics and also many of the works you guys have mentioned. Keep 'em coming.

Ever thought about reading a bit of Russian literature (Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Lermontov, etc) if your confident in your literary maturity. Really expands the mind.

One of my favourite books is 'On the Road' by Jack Kerouac. That will change your life!
I'm reading Tolstoy's short stories right now, because his novels are too long. He is of course, one of the masters. He can be funny sometimes. Actually I relate to him so much, we have almost the same perspective. He is basically a more traditional, spiritually minded guy surrounded by a society of vain superficial people who, while not stupid, are just not interested in the deeper questions of life.

Never heard of Lermontov. I think Chekov is pretty good, though I haven't read much.

On the Road - cool book but, it's hard to live that way now. Everything is so much more homogenous now and less open. If they did on the road now, they'd be going from strip mall to strip mall.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

The Divine Comedy, House of Leaves, EarthGame. Three of my favorite books and each have an interesting message inside them.

Excellent book.

Here are my recommendations:

Aleister Crowley: Magick in theory and practice.

Aleister Crowley: Liber Al vel Legis (The Book of The Law). Changed my life.

Get through these and I'll give you a couple more to expand your consciousness.

You can never go wrong with any classic piece of literature. I am currently reading The Complete Sherlock Holmes. If something like that does not suit your tastes try George R.R. Martin's A Game Of Thrones and the rest of A Song of Fire & Ice, awesome reads.
