Sorry if this seems a little off-topic, but I believe the way you dress is very important for this aspect of your life. So, what kind of shirts/tops/shoes/runners do black jeans go well with, in your opinions?

Anyway, black goes with everything. Whatever color shirt you want, whatever color shoes you want, it should look good. Just don't wear ALL black; You don't wanna look like some emo or goth or something right?

Ha, no the emo/goth look is not what I'm looking for.

I'm wondering if white runners and a red t-shirt would look a bit incongruous.

Black jeans are terrible on guys.

Unless you're goth or perhaps the baggy jeans skater type.

Distressed, boot-cut black jeans look great. They aren't actually black, more like a grey. They look really good with a black pinstriped dress shirt and casual shoes.

doesn't even work with skater types... maybe goth kids... but... goth... why.

Black jeans can go with anything, it depends more on the cut than the color. They should be slim and straight.

I have a pair of almost-too-short slim black washed jeans that look like trousers, so I tend to wear them with smarter outfits.

What did you have in mind?
