What books worked for you and what books did not?

There are a lot of books of seduction, self-improvement, etc. What books/material opened your eyes or offered good content thats beneficial and what material did you not benefit from or just didn't work for you?

There is no such a method that is going to work just by reading . You gotta practice a lot on field . If there was such a method everyone would get all girls , and again would be discrimination on looks , wealth and blla blla ..

Mystery - Mystery Method

From Mystery i've read only VENUSIAN ARTS HANDBOOK and its good book . It helps with creating attraction , building comfort and leading to sex .

Ive also seen some videos of Mystery seminairs and they are great too . But almost same stuff from book .

I also have MAGIC BULLETS but i havent read it yet .

Double Your Dating is good for some inner game , helps to create new mindset .
He's C+F got laid lot of people around the world .

Ive also seen some of he's videos " APPROACHING GIRLS AT BARS/CLUBS " and some inverviews with some PU GURUS . THey are good .

Neil Strauss - STYLE

The Game is most entertaining book in PU society . Its not method or something its more like novel . But it also teaches you some nice sh!t .

Rules of the game . I just got it and i think is great book , it helps you master the game in 30 days . Its like bootcamp with missions for each day .

Annihilation Method - Its great video collection by Style coaching some "loosers" .

SoSUAVE / DJ BIBLE / BOOK OF POOK / SS BOOTCAMP

Great free stuff . All this helps you alot .

but keep one thing in mind . NONE of this stuff IS going to help you for real . They only tells you how to drive . But you gotta practice a lot on street to learn to drive .

SO , GET YOUR ASS OUT , GO IN FIELD , MAKE YOUR MINDSET " I DONT GIVE A FVCK ABOUT ANYTHING " and approach , react , socialize with everyone . Thats the only way to master the game .

Regarding "seduction" lit, Dating Insider (I think they now call it Seduction Insider) was gold.

Double Your Dating was actually counterproductive.

Actually. best of all was a book called The Way Up From Down, by one Priscilla Slagle, about the effects of brain biochemistry on one's moods. The book probably saved my life.

I think it's kind of hard to say what "works" and doesn't work.

When I first came to this site, although I am naturally attractive, the way I dressed, styled hair, etc was not optimal. I've increased a full 2 points on a 10 point scale since then. Damn near anything I tried would've worked better, so I can't be sure about anything. Also the bolster of confidence of thinking something will work creates a self-fuffiling prophecy.

Most of the guys writing books, IMO, are probably big-time nerds. I mean, not to rag on anyone, but if you listen and look at some of these guys they aren't exactlythe coolest lot of dudes that ever walked. I think some of them are probably good but most are living in a fantasy land where talking like a big man makes up for all their real life inadquecies and where they finally show up that high school buly by bragging to women in a nightclub about how much $$$ they have while pardoxally making fun of guys who tell women about their fancy cars.

On the other hand, there is defintely a lot to be said about how one can carry himself and his attitude toward the world. The best way I have found to learn this is first hand from people who are already effective in day-to-day situations. As a plus you'll make friends, spend less time at home reading, and avoid the kind of BS that prolifiates in the Internet fantasies of delusional would-be PUAs. You can find some of them in University classes, nightclubs, and by working in certain occupations (anything that requires good people skills should turn up a few examples).

For what's it's worth my book can help with the basics. It's not a method type book and please don't take my word for it, read the reviews. IMO you have to read at least ONE book on body language to be remotely successful...so it might as well be mine

How To Be The Jerk Women Love - FJ Shark. Recently read it, absolutely brilliant, can't believe I had never heard of it before.

Two of the best books I've ever read are found on here. There's the Book Of Pook and also Weapons Of Mass Destruction by Fingz. You aren't going to find anything better even if you pay for it.

Double Your Dating by David D is a great start and has lots of fundementals. The thing is it's so condensed that it's like even important things can only get a small mention. So be sure to go back and read it again. One word of warning, don't take ****y + funny to seriously. David D over sells it. It can be great but you don't need it, it doesn't work well for some people (obviously the ones who aren't funny), there are times when it's best not to use it.

Really no book is going to change your life. It's better to read just one and actually go out there and use it than to read a hundred and never act on them. You don't need all the books that Poonani Maker posted, even though I am sure all of them contain something valuable.

Juggler is great but his ebook wasn't as good as I was expecting. Sure there are some good things in it, but I think his collection of posts is better.

Do yourself a favour and get yourself a copy of The Blueprint Decoded by Real Social Dynamics (Tyler Durden). It's hands down the best thing I've ever watched. A lot of guys will whole heartedly agree there. I watched the DVD set and I reccomended that, although there is a beta of the book you cna track down. I don't know when the full version is coming out, but it isn't as good as the DVDs.

Personally I wouldn't worry so much about books that reccomended canned routines. The exception would be if you are just learning how to apply the principles. Lots of guys will disagree with me here.

The Way of the Superior Man by David Deida is a must read for every man. Do yourself a favour and find a copy, even if you don't agree with everything.

Most people will reccomend The Power Of Now by Eckhart Tolle although I would say that A New Earth: Awakening Your Life's Purpose is better. Many people have found these life changing. Goes well with The Blueprint Decoded.

As for personal development outside of attraction I'm not so sure. I have a big list to read myself. Psycho-Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz was eye opening and I would reccomended that. Anything by Tony Robbins is sure to be great although I've only listened to his audio tapes.

I've probably read 100-130 books in the last 5-9 years on all types of subjects. I like learning in general...

-Influence by Robert Cialdini. Good introduction into the world of persuasion and influence. It's considered a modern classic, it's gotten very good reviews.

-48 Laws of Power. Similar. You don't have to be power hungry or a mobster to gain from the book. Just good general information you should know.

-Tony Robbins. Use to be into. I don't know if I'd recommend him anymore. Too much in terms of energy, passion. You "must" do this. It isn't congruent with me. Worth looking at and being exposed to.

He teaches you alot about how the mind works. Awaken the Giant Within was my favorite, over Unlimited Power.

-Most of the books on energy, passion, they're too abstract for me. Never went deep with Wayne Dyer or anything like that.

-Google or youtube videos on seduction, getting girls. Much better than any book. Alex Coulson, Richard (from England I think). Another guy from Australia. You would learn the body language, tonality much faster than anything printed.

-Jay Abraham in marketing/business. He blows my mind away. He has a great 2 hour interview with Tony Robbins on business achievement, maximizing sales.

What's great about him...not an ounce of fluff, no high pressure sales, or high pressure closes, nothing unethical. He sells $5,000 per person seminars (and sells out!). Would recommend his Mr X book, his mass market book, "Getting Everything You can out of all you've got" and his home study course, "How to get from where you are to where you want to be".

His material can be pricey (on ebay...his books are $100 or tape sets are $200).

-And some good biographies on Warren Buffett and other successful people.

-In personal development, Pyscho Cybernetics is good. Some good info on identity. Something to be exposed to.

Corny title: Undercover Sex Signals: A Pickup Guide for Guys by Leil Lowndes.

Despite the awfully tacky title and equally awful and annoying author's voice as I was give a downloaded audiobook version. I actually got a lot out of this book and now use it the principles in the book to good success.

I can now read women's undercover signs that they want you. And going after the women that are really interested in you instead of trying to convince that hb 10 hotty that you are the best thing since slice breed life has improved my sex life by 500%. That doesn't mean I go after anything that makes any sign of interest, I do have very high standards indeed, it just means I have increased my success rate 10 fold.

It is all to do with reading women's very subtle body language, sometimes it's only for a split second, but once you know what you are looking for - it's really obvious when you know, but I would say 99% of men don't see them.

Try it, as I said awful title and the book wanders about a bit, but the fundamental principals are very good - well it worked for me....
