What are the odds of finding a hottie?

What are the odds of someone in his late twenties finding a genuine hottie in the same age group who is NOT divorced and does NOT have rugrats crawling around? Is it me, or does it seem that most women in their late twenties, especially the hot ones, are all taken? It seems that the only ones available look like Roseanne Barr!

You're right. The later 20-somethings are taken or FUG's - the hotties are fewer and far between.

Set your sights on younger women. There's a buh-zillion threads stating the same thing.

Stay positive.

What should my target age group be? I am 28 and very averse to pursusing anyone under 25, since so many women in their early twenties are like teenagers.

How many HBs do you talk to? I bet there's more than you think who aren't taken and aren't divorced/don't have kids. Whether you go for closer to your own age or go younger - never lower your standards.

28 is still relatively young, you could easily still pull women in their early 20's. I think it also depends on where you live. If you live in Podunkville the older ones will be how you described, the bigger the city you live in the more hotties in your age group there will be.

At 28, you can pull anywhere from 23-40 w/o problems. In larger cities you can meet many women, never married without kids who are early and mid 30's. That said don't be so quick to discount the younger set. You can usually find an attractive 23-25 y/o girl who has escaped the MTV mentallity.

Location, location, location. Your odds drastically decline in Butte, Montana as opposed to Miami, Florida. Hot women have a curious tendency to relocate to where the action (not to mention rich men) is. Statistically 66% of Americans are overweight and a full third qualify as 'morbidly obese', in my book this puts 66% of the U.S. population (adjusted for gender) out of the equation. That leaves 33% of the single females in contention, adjust for only single women in my target demographic (18-30) and childless, maybe I'm at 20% of the population (females only again).

There are ways I can increase my odds with that 20% however. If I keep myself within that 33% of in shape adults or exceed the fitness average of this group I set myself apart. I can of course develop DJ/PUA skills, but if I lean towards self improvement and I have verifiable social proof of such this makes me more marketable. And last, go fishing where the fish are - truly beautiful women have a marked tendency to leave rural areas in favor of the glamour of large metropolises. Can't leave just yet? Take vacations in these places. As a side, consider leaving the country on vacation and see what women of other cultures have to offer.

Excellent numbers Rollo. Correct, I live in a semi-rural area and can tell you that there isn't a great deal of hotness here, or in the Northwest for that matter. When I travel to L.A., Bay Area, etc., it's drastically different.

The hottest girl in my high school class? She re-located to the city. Correct on that, too. Also, in rural areas the guys greatly outnumber the women, especially here in the Northwest. I trolled on an internet dating site last night and I was greatly disappointed in not just the appearances, but the shallowness in the bios. I don't think I found one gal who was decently educated.

Based on what I've heard from WestCoaster and NorPacWolf there is no way in hell I will ever move to the Northwest. You couldn't pay me enough. It seems like a wasteland with very few decent women. I really feel for you guys.

I live in South Florida and I just can never complain because this is paradise compared to the Northwest and many rural areas. But that doesn't mean all these hotties are quality people, I think we have our fair share of superficial b1tches like any big place.

It is a wasteland and there are so many AFCs the women call the shots. I went out with a prof here on campus I met through an online deal -- I'd say about a "5" at best -- she was dating and sleeping with two other guys and both knew about it and it didn't bother them. She was telling both of them she was trying to choose between the two ... like Susan Sarandon in Bull Durham except Costner walks out of the room when she says she's choosing.

First off, the gal is a "5" at best; secondly, why put up with that B.S.?

It's not good here at all, especially compared to Cali and Hawaii -- not in the same league.

To be honest, if you want quality women (not just hot), you are SOL in this post-McFeminista US warzone. They've turned every woman into a self-absorbed, self-entitled prick and every man into a sopping wet AFC pu55y.

Interestingly, there was this list on another forum to see if any girls could meet it:

26 or younger
hot female
not a moron
not on any meds or drugs
not in debt
no kids
sane
heterosexual
can intellectualize deeply
and born in the USA

So far, only 1 could POSSIBLY meet those bare-bones basic qualifications - much less any over 26. :D

Too bad it is this way, aside from the apparent lack of women it is a really beautiful area and great if you like the outdoors. I live in California now but I grew up on the Olympic Peninsula near Port Townsend- the area reminds me of Lake Tahoe to give you an idea.
