that girls usually like on guys? I'm thinking about picking up some nice clothes from some store for when I talk to this girl and maybe ask her to prom. A friend recommended Hollister and another recommended Pac Sun. What do you guys think?

depends on the look you're shooting for. If you want to look like the stereotypical "cool guy" (which WILL pull a lot of chicks) then go with the Abercrombie, Hollister, American Eagle look.

If you're looking for something slightly less generic, I like Express, Izod and Lacoste polos, and a lot of the brand names at Macy's (Perry Ellis, etc.). These are all a bit more formal.

I couldn't tell you where to go for goth clothing, if you're looking to pull those chicks. I have no clue.

I go to AE, Abercrombie, Hollister, and Aeropostale. Buy a blazer or two, and some light peacock accessories. Like Shocker, I have no clue where to get goth clothes so if that's your style, good luck with that. Pac Sun has some dank ass hats though; buy a phat corona cowboy hat, you're guaranteed to get somewhere.

For jeans I'd say go to Ross.
They're the same ones they sell at the mall, only for ALOT less.
[leaves you with more money for other stuff]

For shirts I wouldn't know, since I wear mostly band T's that I've picked up at shows/gigs because they're cheaper there.

[Damn, I sound cheap....hahahaha]

To be honest I don't know anys specific shops, I just go to lots and pick out cloths I like. But something I have realised that works well is if your part of some sort of sporting or music community, try getting their branded cloths if they have any.

I'm a diver, and own jackets and shirts from dive centres around the world (most stating the location and such). They work amazingly well as peakocking cloths as people often come up and ask me if I'm a diver, and that proceeds to easy DHV stories.

I don't think it really matters what you wear. Yeah, you want to look good with some style. And not wear old beat up clothes. Wearing something different and unique can get women to approach you and comment on it. But, really I believe it all comes down to how you present yourself.
