What are some great closing techniques for getting a girls number?

i always seem to be able to have great conversation women. and id say i have no problem closing girls in the bracket of 7's or 8's but when i try to close the extremely pretentious pompous chicks even after breaking down their wall, i have a hard time closing them...any suggestions?
