(NOTE: This is a post from the woman that this guy has been "dry dating".

Went on two dates with the sweetest guy I had ever met on OLD apps. He says he'd be "very happy" to see me again. I feel a lot of connection with him. He is a little bit socially awkward and nerdy, just like me, so it's easy for me to relate to him. He is also very kind, which makes him a rare gem. It's very easy for me to talk to him, and we both laugh a lot when we are on a date.
The trouble is, he is not my type, I am not sexually attracted to him, and I am not sure it can ever change. I think you are either sexually attracted to somebody or not, and it's a given?
For now, he doesn't push me into anything, we haven't kissed or hugged, not even a little goodbye peck on the cheek. This is also a new experience for me. He stroked my back once, in a friendly manner, on a second date. Other than that, there was nothing remotely erotic.
So, I am very confused. If he is a slow burner, how long can it be before he switches gears to something more romantic/ sexual?
Can sexual attraction grow out of nothing?
Usually, when people are offered to be "just friends", they get offended and disappear angrily. Shall I still try and offer this guy to be friends now, so as not to waste anybody's time, cause I really enjoy his company?
