Went on online date, girl was heavier than expected

I met some chick online and she sent me her pic. She looked kind of cute and was one of those girls who could be cuter than her pic or worse than her pic (in person)...it was hard to tell.

Well, I met up with her tonight...she was about 30lbs overweight, had slight double chin and smoked. Put it this way, if I saw her out I probably would not have looked at her 2x. She was not a pig, but not really that cute. BEWARE of chicks pics. BTW, while I was out to dinner, there was so much other fine ass around, I could not help my eyes from wandering.

While that may be true for some girls, it is not for all. I went out with a fairly attractive girl in NYC whom I met online.

There's two kinds of women looking for guys online- girls that are heavy and/or unattractive that have problems getting dates any other way, OR women who are really quite hot looking specifically for rich dudes without having to put up with the BS of getting hit on all the time at bars, etc. Most of us aren't interested in either type.

Screw it, mahon83050 you took a chance and it didnt work out, thats just the way it works. Good for you. Besides if anything you have a great war story to tell your boys. I had a really bad experience at a bar recently that was so horrible and yet humorous that i wouldnt trade it for the world. When you first get out of the situation, yeah it does suck. Then a day or so later when you thiink about it, its kinda ****ing hilarious. Just like I said, its just another war story a DJ can share with his boys.

Yeah I've had this happen to me before... sucks. She was so gorgeous too, we met, and then she told me on the date she had a kid. I was like oh... wow...

Okay, so you didn't find this girl hot. But if you are on a date with someone you are attracted to don't get in to the habit of letting you eyes wander at other hot girls. Or you may be end up depending on-line dating for a very long time.

I beg to differ here. A friend of mine tried it, came over to me showing an 8.

He eventually got burned...but once in a while something can turn up. Although i admit, they are very rare.

I've done the online thing once and had a good experience. I want to keep it as part of my repertoire, but it takes too much effort to get to the first date, and I don't even know if she's really cute or not. It takes much less time and effort to date someone i met in person, and I don't have to worry about BIG suprises.


People who say that you can't meet a good girl online either haven't tried it or are basing that off of their own failures, not universal ones. Everyone that speaks in absolutes is 100% wrong.
