Now i understand some of you guys are going to get confused but i want help.

Basically, buying trousers that fit and look good is a real pain for me. I play lots of sports and am slightly overweight, but the real trouble is that my thighs are huge, most of it muscle (rowing, hockey, fencing, skiing) and that getting nicely cut trousers is really hard. I hate hugely baggy trousers and they make me look fat.

What i want to know is whether any of you have had the same problem and what cut trousers you go for, or particular type of cloth that works for you.

Any reason you don't go to a shopping centre one day and try on different things until you find a type you like?

I have done that several times, however, different stores have different types that they call the same cut and in addition, i want to see what other people think and know from past experience. I have a nice dark pair of jeans and a nice black one and a nice pair of chinos. However, i can not find nice, light coloured jeans.

if you wear chinos, make sure to get the pleated front style chino
in a "relaxed cut" dont wear "flat front" style chinos unless your "slim".

cuffed trouser bottoms will make a short person look shorter

wearing chinos that are slightly short will make your legs appear longer

a good jean to wear is "relaxed fit" dont ever buy straight leg or clasic fit jeans because the legs will be too snug.

I have larger thighs too from running a lot, I always buy jeans that are full in the thighs and leg, with slight taper at the hem
or even "boot cut" relaxed fit would work.

What stores have you been to?

If you are going to buy clothes i suggest purchasing a quality brand.

Dont buy levi's from jcpenny, they are the absolute worst for real.

Peace and Quiet

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Thanks, it was this type of advice that i was looking for.

Thing with relaxed fit is that i bought a pair of them and they are already so loose, i think i have to buy a tight waist with them.
What kinds of cut are full in the thighs and the lef with a taper at the hem, as those are the type of trousers that i love.
