I sometimes get spots that are like regular acne, but they dont form a whitehead and tend to lurk around for aaaages.

It's the same pain as when i touch it as a normal spot.

When it has gone down in size and redness it leaves the mark of a normal spot.

Any idea what this is, and how to get rid of them? I've had this spot since Sunday and it doesnt seem to be getting any better, no matter what i put on it, spot treatment, toothpaste, tee tree oil.

Worst thing, its on the end of my nose, and I have a party on saturday:nervous:

lmao, its dress to impress, although you wouldn't really be able to tell the difference between my spot and the clown nose.

Santa could always just use me as its so ****ing red, and it will probably be around till christmas :(

Luckily though my acne has improved loads these past couple of months, hardly get any spots these days :D

It could very well be a cyst, which is a bump that stays slightly beneath the skin. It'll cause pain, hang around for a LOONNNGGG time, leave a red mark (because it's kept the skin inflamed for so long) and is generally a pain in the *ss to get rid of.

The two things that helped me when I got them a lot where ice and time.

Yeah, I got them checked out. The derm I had nearly killed me one day when she pressed this small, round, metal object against one that was on the side of my nose as hard as she could so she could "pop it." All it did was inflame the hell out of it, leave a scar when it healed for a good while, and left me in tears for about 2 hours due to the pain (I was 12 at the time.)

After that "lovely" experience, I researched online.

But, with the way you are describing the acne you sometimes get, it's a cyst, plain and simple.

Unless you are getting bitten by bugs a lot.

Black heads ,pimples are some relates to the acne,It's a fact- curing acne can never be achieved by tackling one of the many factors responsible for acne. If you've ever tried to cure your acne using one-dimensional treatments like antibiotics or even detox diets and failed it's probably because you tackled only one aspect of the disease. Not only will this system teach you the only way to prevent your acne from being formed, you will also learn through online.

Haha well try taking the advice in this thread

and it worked very well for me, but I'm a lazy bum sometimes.

Jojoba oil and the cream they recommend really really help.
Used that as well. To be honest, you would be REALLY surprised how much of it has to do with your diet. I just cut out all those bad foods, consumed foods which were very healthy which contained all the vitamins that were mentioned in the topic (so I could consume them naturally). In addition, I bought a very nice face wash... haven't had problems since. (Took about 1 month for me to notice a difference... so be patient and persistant, and don't miss a day in your schedule!)
