Weighted Vests

1. Are they worth the money?
2. Are they effective?
3. Would wearing one while doing some sprint and agility workouts help increase my speed, explosives etc.?
4. How about the injury risk? Higher? Lower? Same?

I've seen many for much lower, thats just the quickest link I could find. The 84lb vest is actually 300 lmao

I've used those. They definitely make the workout much harder. And you feel lighter when you take it off. I've never used more than 25 pounds yet though. I can't even imagine 84 pounds.

They're very effective. Especially in hill/stair sprints. They're very expensive but I've seen some homemade ones. Usually it's just an old jacket with lots of pockets sown on the outside and than you drop zip lock bags full of sand in them.

I might just have to do that instead. I'm very, very hesitant to pour out hundreds of dollars for a vest.

You can build a vest for like $10...but yeah, I used to use them when I'd do agility stuff and they make it A LOT harder. Get in the sand pit and do 3x30 seconds of squat jumps and you'll just about die by the end.
