Do they work equally for someone who doesnt hit the gym. Cause lately i havent had the time to go to the gym cause of my schedule. And also I usually have poor appetite for eating foods cause i get full easily.

Right now im underweight, i know probably eating weight gainers w/o exercise will lead to gaining mass. But if this works easily why not? ive been skinny all my life anyway. So would this be an easy alternative to gaining weight?..aside from the eating more meals a day part (which i have no appetite for)

You need to learn, bro, that it isn't about appetite. You're going to be eating when you're not hungry. Just throw the food down every two hours, and make sure it goes down, after you've planned it out before hand. That will get the lbs coming on.

Erm...if you eat extra calories WITHOUT working out, all you'll gain is PHAT.

Is that what you want?

ps. semag is right...eat even when your not hungry

Honestly i dont care if its fat at all. The majority of my diet consists of high protein and low fat foods. All i am now is skin, bones and muscle. Which i still am underweight.

anyone i've met has a better muscle-fat ration than i do.

Anyway i used to do what seamag said. Back when i used to work out with whey and ate all the time, my best weight was 135lb. Since no more goign to gym and back to eating meals on a regular basis (every 3-4 hrs) ive dropped to 125lb. Besides, in the past stuffing myself with food when i didnt even have the appetite was what probably ****ed me up.

Do you know how i know when im hungry? my stomach doesnt growl, instead i start coughing bad when im hungry.

Screwit, if you don't plan to work out, are you at least doing a job where you work physically? If you eat more food without any phyiscal exercise, you will get fat. But it's not the fat you want. Depends on your body type, but most guys with little muscle look ridiculous when they suddenly start to consume heavy calories. It all goes to the stomach/waist area and maybe your butt, while everything else stays skinny.

ScrewIt, I can relate to you about the appetite thing. I've found that the biggest factor for me is my schedule. If I keep a consistent sleeping/eating schedule, I can eat every 2 hrs no problem. If I get busy with work or other things and my schedule gets screwed up, I won't be hungry and won't be able to eat at the right times. If I'm up late, I tend to be less hungry earlier in the day and more hungry at night.

And no, you can't always force the food down. Some people have hyperactive gag reflexes or other issues. If that's the case, you just have to find a way to deal with it. You might try to eat more flavorful foods.

So work on getting a very consistent eating and sleeping schedule going. I've always had a low appetite, but I've managed to build it up through consistency.

You guys are right. Besides...with all those proteins that weight gainers offer, putting it into my system would be pretty useless if i didnt workout along with it.

Slack, you make a good point, i seemed to have developed a hyperactive gag reflex due to forcing food down in the past. My appetite seems to be recovering in the past months.

Anyway i think thte problem is i usually eat a lot of flavorful foods which conditioned me, obviously its soo good i cant eat a lot of it. If i degraded something to like a hotdog or grilled steak, it would take a while for me to finish it.

With my schedule and breaks during class, i could probably easily throw in a snack here and there. thanks for the heads up.
