Week versus Weekend at the bars/clubs

I'm under the impression that the weekdays are better for going out to meet women. Setting aside the Friday happy hour, which is easy pickings, the weekends are filled with two many guys, "girls nights out", and what not. Pretention is the rule not the exception.

Weekdays on the other hand, are very relaxed. The locals and hardcore partyin' girls are out those nights...esp. Thursdays. Good drink specials, theme nights, and overall...I have more fun...sucks that work is the next day, but you only live once...

I guess that's just in the major cities where there options on the weekdays.

What are your expereinces in this regard?

All you will find during the week are middle-aged women who came to get their daily fix of alcohol after a long, hard day of work. Weekends are more challenging, but the quality is better.

Its usually dead around here where I live, even on Fridays! The only real good day is Saturday and depending if its a bank holiday, Sunday.

Well, not if you live near a big college. Thursdays have always been awesome...people tend to "go home" on the weekends.
