No i am not a pothead. during the summer i blazed a few times, nothing major, it always been a gram or two every couple days, only in the summer, than before it was once a month, or every two months. a joint here and there.

now i can hardly focus on things, i find it harder and more willing to stay focus on one task, as well as remembering half the things i knew before. I even forgot to spell some words that i knew before and im getting worried. i stop smoking it. my intentions were only for the summer, not during school year.

has anyone ever experienced this before? i was wondering if after some time i would be back where i am before? i find it much easier to stay focus in school when i am in 100 percent mentality.

that alone shouldn't have that kind of effect if usage is as described. you've been off school and you'll get back to normal if you just eat and sleep well and don't smoke any. half of it's your imagination, the other half will only be cured by abstinence from the skunk or whatever you had

Weed is a psychotropic hallucinogen, meaning it has chemicals that effects your brain. Ex. THC! I don't care what most pot users say... it effects you both physically and mentally. Granted it's a lot safer than cigarettes, alcohol and alcohol it still has negative consequences. One of the major ones is short term memory, even if you have an awesome short-term memory it still will affect it and make it worse. I use to have a hard time remembering names, now it's really hard for me to learn any names. One reason I stopped cold turkey 5 months ago. I've also seen a lot of users slowly lose motivation and drop their hobbies, friends and social life. Most of the pot heads I know would rather smoke alone than do it with a friend. That is probably the biggest signs of ADDICTION. Even though weed is not physically addictive, it can be MENTALLY addictive. One of the most common physical effect is the fat belt around your stomach, the munchies will slowly start to add pounds. My advice is to stop it, if you still wanna do it make sure you do it with friends... once a month. It's so much better than smoking a little everyday alone.
